There wasn't particularly a lot of people that Anisa enjoyed being around for prolong periods of time. In fact, she could count on one hand and most days, her niece was the only one to be counted on that hand. But Peyton had grown on her. She was smart, witty, and beautiful. She also had the same drive and passion and in Anisa's eyes that was always a win. She smiled at the blonde, "Maybe, but that doesn't mean you can't have a little fun. This is a party just as much as it is anything else. We can go back to being all serious on Monday." There could be a chance she'd regret saying that, but right now she was going to go with it. "You going to catch up later, right?" She asked, "I can't be the only one drunk off my ass. Plus, the last thing I want is for you to be sober and remember you had to take care of your boss." At her confession, Anisa couldn't help but smile. "Is that right?" She questioned, her brow arching, "You know what? Hell yeah." She'd much rather it be Peyton then some man anyways. "Why thank you, beautiful. You clean up rather nice yourself outside of a pair of scrubs."

She shrugged her shoulders at the question, "Sure, we could go with that." She offered, giving the brunette a nod. That sounded a little less bad than the actual truth of the matter. She smirked when she agreed to the shots. "Perfect. Are you a from the bottle kind of a girl, or you need a shot glass?" She asked, arching her brow in curiosity.

"Well, if it isn't my long lost twin." She mused, turning to take in her brother. "If anyone takes after anyone, it's you me, brother." It was no surprise that the Torres genes were strong. Although she bet their father haven't betted on having majority of his kids hating him. That was the one thing she felt the most connected with when it came to her brother. Even tho he was the claimed son, the true oldest in their father's eyes, he felt as much detain as she did for their father. "I'd have to hang myself." She mumbled, "Champagne gives pretentious and I'd always much rather fun and lose. That 'we are here for a good time, not a long time' vibes." At least, that was the case when she was off duty becoming the next best surgeon. "It's like coming home. You think Satan will be down there ready for pictures like Santa at the mall?" She wondered, arching a brow, "It's not everyday someone can say they met and potentially fucked the ruler of fire."

The amusement that embedded into his features only mellowed once Anisa began to explain the three types of men she knew. He kept quiet - his nose screwed up briefly at her second type, one he held a dislike for. Though truth be told all three seemed fucking joyful, so it was a hard toss up. There was also a silent thought of what category he would slot into - not that he'd ask now. Either way, he got why she was set in her ways with not looking for that unicorn. Nate couldn't blame her; he'd be the same. His prior ask there had just been curiosity fed and he knew Anisa enough by now to know she cut the bullshit and said it how it was - a trait he appreciated as a whole. "This is why if Izzy came to me and said she wanted to be a nun I'd encourage it." he joked, partly, because fuck he was looking forward to his daughter getting into relationships like a hole in the head. "Been through a lot then," he eyed Anisa, he wasn't feeling sorry for her, he just thought it was sad. "Anyway, better put your smart-ass hat on, got an actual question for you."

Yeah, it was fairy safe to say that she couldn't stand this man. How she managed to sit here this long and stare at his face was a true mystery. Every word that left his mouth, no matter how small, gave her a sense of murderous rage. "That would first indicate that you have something to scam, Hart. And I know you've been told your whole life that you're God's gift to women, but I'm here to let you know, this is false." She replied, surprisingly calmly. "If I wanted to fuck with a man's head today, I fear you would not be anywhere near the top of that list. In fact, I feel like I've lost an array of cool points just sitting here talking to you." Shifting in her chair, she forced a smile, "I want to build a house. I got the funds. And this company remains the best in the city. I'm simply playing it smart. You being the figure head to that is a simple misfortune, but not one that'd kill me." She arched a brow, "Unless you plan on leaving the statue of my house unsteady, therefore crushing me. In that case, I'd let you know right now, I'll hunt your ass til the day you die."

Anisa found herself softy smiling at her cousin. Even if there was a sense of feeling worlds apart, it was still nice to know they were family and she treated her as such. "Other than me wanting to murder half the men on my unit?" She thought out loud, "Fairy alright, I guess. Sucks being the best and a man's fragile ego is in the way." While she loved to crush those any other thing, he future in medicine required a little more tact. "Me too. It's really good to see you, Bec. I know I've been a little flakey." She could've inserted a 'but', however, what could she really say? She glanced down at the black coffee, "Thanks. I need this after the 12 hour I just pulled." Wanting mostly the bitter taste of the black coffee, she added a single cream and proceeded to take a sip. Dark, bitter, just like her soul. "How's work going for you? Anything exciting on the Torres front?"

“Lucky you.” He teased; scoffing an amused chuckle. Despite that potential assumption that Nate was being reflecting of his own mother, in actuality his mom is and remained to be the most incredible woman he knew. His father, however, the one that had drummed manners into him, not so much. Nate watched as she knocked back the tequila as if it was nothing - used to the sight by now, so his lack of reaction was him simply having adapted. He chuckled lightly as she asked after the lime and salt, in turn reaching for what Anisa wanted and setting it down in front of her for free rein. Listening he soon softly shook off her feigned attempt at backtracking - considering he was a part of that horror species, "It's fine, we're pricks, might as well say it." he didn't care. "You ever gonna let anyone show you any different?”

"Oh -- the luckiest." She mused, a smile crossing her features as he threw down the requested items. Without a second thought, Nisa went for her next shot. Swiping a small line of lime juice across her inner arm and sprinkling the salt over top, she licked the trail of salt, toss back her next shot and sunk her teeth into a lime wedge. The sensation of all three hitting just right. She knew then that this was exactly how she was going to spend the rest of her night. She snorted at Nate's next question, placing the shot glass down, she leaned forward with a pointed stare. "Like who?" She asked, "I know three men." She held up three fingers, "There's the men who act nice, the good guys, the ones you think are your friends. Only to realize they were never that. They were just waiting to see if you'd sleep with them. And gosh dang... help your soul once they realize that's never going to happen. Instant switch." She snapped her fingers, then continued to prepare her next shot, "Then there's the ones who don't pretend. They're entitled and assholes, you're theirs and you will play the part until they're done with you -- and God help you if they're well connected and rich." Now those were the ones she was most familiar with. "And then there's the ones who might try to respect you. Pretend to, at least. Mainly as long as you stay in your place and out of the majors. But truly, they believe they're simply better than you because they have balls, and their egos take a hit when a woman can prove to be just as good as they are, if not better." Licking the salt on her arm, tossing back the shot in her hand, and sucking down on the lime, she'd slam the glass down and smile at her neighborhood friendly bartender. "I doubt the unicorn you're thinking of will ever cross my path, Walker. And you know what? I'm cool with that. I rather know what I'm dealing with from the get. And letting a man disappoint you is amateur hour."

"Me? Never, Throne. My heart's as cold as ice, but you know -- it's good for business if you act like you give a fuck." She tossed back, meaning most of what she said. Although, truth be told, she was glad the motherfucker hadn't gotten himself killed yet. She arched a brow, slightly amused at the request. Although, not surprised. "Why? That busted lip give it a little extra taste, Throne? If I didn't know better, I'd say you like the sting." Turning away from him, she headed towards the corner, where a little liquor courage rested for the club. It was a common thing to see one of the guys drink straight from the bottle as they were getting stitched up. "Oh-- Axel, baby--" She called out to him as he carried on with his request. Pulling herself a drink, she'd grab the glass and turn her body a quarter, leaning her hip up against the steel table. At the flick of her wrist, she twirl the whiskey around the clear glass, flickering her eyes up through thick eyelashes, "Call me a nurse again and I'll make sure you bleed out on this floor." Giving him a playful smirk, she winked, and took a sip of the whiskey.

The pieces of the puzzle suddenly all fell together in Bianca's mind; that gleam of satisfaction in Anisa's smile, the incessant calls and messages from Gina begging to see her granddaughter, the man who spoke of valuing family while paying a younger woman who refused his marriage proposal—only to be entangled with her mother. It all clicked. The fire that had once consumed Bianca’s features began to fade, replaced by a slow, devious smirk. Her brow arched, a silent acknowledgment of the plan forming in her mind. And then, she'd burst into a fit of laughter. "Well, the kids of the old sugar daddies are usually better. It's all the pent up daddy issues. Can you just imagine the look on her face?" It would be priceless. "Alright, I'll bite. However—" her head canted, and after a beats hesitation she continued with, "no Gigi. No mention of her. No one sees a photo of her. No one in that room is to know she exists. As far as they know, Gina is a raging bitch seeing delusions and I never had a child. Deal?"

Anisa smiled softy, and gave a firm nod, "That, sister, will always be the one thing you and I can absolutely agree on." Anisa and B might not have the healthiest or strongest relationship of two sisters. They might not agree on much, or stand each other all that often, but the one thing they would always be in the same corner with was keeping Gigi out of Gina's freshly manicured claws. "Gina's thinks this is going to be a wholesome dinner. You know, fake some smiles, act like she's mom of the year. But by the end of it, I bet we won't hear from her for a good year. If lucky, never again." If only. "She might threaten to take us for grandparent rights, again. But considering daddy dearest runs these courts, it's empty threats as always."
