Zenitsu was resting on his bed, seemingly looking at nothing, just staring ahead at the wall in front of him, as if in a deep stupor. He was put to rest in bed until he was completely healed, but his lack of compliance to take his medicine slowed down any chance of him getting better.

At the side of his bed was Tanjirou, he’s been at Zenitsu’s side to make sure that he’s resting alright and taking his medicine as directed. He’s noticed that dazed out look on his friend’s face, but he opts to not mention it; he knows his friend has been through a lot and is probably trying to make sense of what happened to him. Just being close to him for now is enough till he’s feeling like his usual chatty self.

It’s 2am right now and I was just about to go to sleep but I seen the ‘I’m literally the guy in the pic" meme and I automatically thought of zuko and shoto so I had to do it instead of sleeping.
