Sanemi - Duje by Albina and Kelmendi Family (Albania)

A song regarding a broken family, does that remind y’all of a certain hashira and his brother? The episode from last week also really solidifies why I think Duje reminds me of Sanemi.

Giyu - Bridges by Alika (Estonia)

What made me choose this for Giyu is one of the songs messages: moving on to a better future. It goes hand in hand with the scene during the Hashira training arc where Tanjiro tells him to cherish his life instead of acting on his survivors guilt.

Obanai - Samo mi se Spava by Luke Black (Serbia)

I’m not sure what it is about this song, but it definitely makes me think of Obanai. Regardless, when the song picks up after the first “samo mi se spava” I can just picture Obanai in my head.

Muichiro - Aijā by Sudden Lights (Latvia)

Just like with Obanai, this is another one where I just think of Muichiro when I listen to this. I can’t help but think of Muichiro’s backstory specifically when I hear this (if it makes sense).

Gyomei - Watergun by Remo Forrer (Switzerland)

Not gonna lie, but picking a song that reminded me of Gyomei was a difficult one for me before I decided on Watergun. Honorable mentions include Soarale si Luna and Heart of Steel (the latter could also work for Tengen I discovered).

Ok this is my last Eurovision related post for this season but I got to thinking about which song reminded me of each hashira. Be warned that there are spoilers about demon slayer in here. So without further ado…

Mitsuri - Future Lover by Brunette (Armenia)

When I was listening to this one day I automatically thought of Mitsuri. The opening of the song talking about wanting to do things with a future lover reminded me of Mitsuri’s reasoning of joining the corps and how she wants to find her mr. perfect.

Shinobu - My Sister’s Crown by Vesna (Czechia)

The sisterhood theme and meaning of the song gave me major Shinobu vibes. When I listen to this, I’m not only reminded of Shinobu, but Kanae and Kanao as well.

Tengen - Cha Cha Cha by Käärijä (Finland)

There’s only one way to describe this song:it’s crazy it’s party flashy. From the moment this song turns into a party banger halfway through (the whole song is a banger), it straight up reminds me of Tengen.

Kyojuro - Carpe Diem by Joker Out (Slovenia)

Not gonna lie, I almost gave Kyojuro Duje before deciding on Carpe Diem. The message of not letting the negativity get to you reminds me of Kyojuro telling Senjuro that despite what their father told him, it wasn’t going to stop his passion.
