He’s been a very good friend for a few years, but I -as a person- need to stop RPing.  

I’m not getting enjoyment from it anymore, and it’s causing me to drift towards sin too much.   I REALLY like Phil. I prefer this Phil over AoS Phil.  I love having my Phil respond to things. I’ll miss Genie, Evangeline, and Rota.  But I’m not sure who else would or does.  (except maybe 2 people) And I can track how often I need to go to confession by how often I RP.  And it’s frustrating. If it wasn’t for those two things, I would stay on.

[Text] Quite a while, actually. Last time was the ballet nearly a year ago.

Your muse is 94 when he becomes zombified. Being a Jotun is difficult. Becoming a zombie at the age of 94 doesn’t help things. Phil spends the regular time in quarantine as other zombified citizens, then an extra two years under medical observation (although he’s allowed to come and go as he pleases) because nobody’s sure how he’s going to be affected. As it turns out, he’s okay– at least physically.

“Good.” Phil nodded.  “I have to admit, I’m not good with fashion so you may need to run it by other people, and there are websites, magazines, you can explore a bit.”   Phil metaphorically melted a bit when she touched his face, and he bent his forehead forward so he could touch hers.   “I do want to know you better.  A lot.  And I’m glad you are making yourself comfortable. But-” He reached up to touch her hands.  “When I Came Back after I died, I started to have horrible nightmares ever night. And I have all the new Jotun issues.  I can’t ask for much, because I demand so much care. I can do a lot of it on my own, but having someone to share my burden is all I could ever really ask.  And someone that I can touch without dying. “  He moved back his head slightly so he could look into her eyes. 

 “I scream and cry and bleed out every night. I’ve tried to fix it, I can’t.  So I suffer through it.  If it is too much, tell me and we can sleep in different rooms.  If you want hot food, let me know and I’ll make what I can or order out.  I’m still not over whatever happened with Lady Hel.  All I can ask for is help and care.  And I will do all that I can to help you.”   He savored her natural warmth though. One that didn’t cause him to melt as he debated about kissing her again. However after that little speech, it might be too much.   “I should also warn you, I can’t flirt and I can’t recognize when people are flirting with me, so if I’m ever oblivious, that’s why. I also ask for your patience and forgiveness on that front.” 

“You worry too much, Phillip Coulson.” Her eyes sparkled with delight, despite not liking what she’d been told. He overthought things, she decided. “I am here for you as much as you are here for me. You have someone now, someone whom your Jotun form cannot harm. And even if we do not consummate our marriage, I am fine with toys. You do not need to fear the dark, I will soothe your nightmares. As for food,we will deal with that.”

Phil glanced at his new wife’s outfit, before nodding in acknowledgement that it existed.  “If you see anything you like or want, please let me know.” He said after a moment.  “I’m asexual, so I don’t care what you wear as long as you’re not naked in public, but between fashion or different outfits fitting different occassions, let me know how I can make you more comfortable.”  He looked back at the screen.  “How are first class tickets in a week’s time?”   As he waited for a response, he stood up and stepped back a bit to look her in the eye. “That also sounds lovely.  I mostly want to make sure we can survive -not just physically but financially- where ever we move to.  But we are a team now, and if I make you uncomfortable, or force you to do something you don’t want to do - or I don’t do something you do want to do- tell me and we can work it out.”   I am also horrible at both flirting and recognizing when I’m being flirted with, so please let me know if I’m not giving you the attention you deserve. Upon hearing her opinion on what other people thought, he shook his head slightly.  “Some do. Thor for example.  And as long as I have freely consented, it doesn’t matter what other people think.  It fulfills Catholic teaching, it’s a Valid, Sacramental, marriage.  And if people still don’t bump out, we can say it was arranged and we are both very happy with it.  Beyond that, it’s their problem.” 

“I promise if I find any clothing I think I would like, I will mention it to you.” She smiled. He was very considerate, knowing that it was not nearly as warm here as her own realm had been. Truthfully, she was getting chills in this simple dress, but decency prevented her from saying anything of it.

“I think I would too.” Phil agreed as he switched over to a ticket website.  “We’ll probably need to do some shopping too.  Do you need any clothes?” He asked, offhandledly.  “As this is my first arranged marriage, I don’t know about the state of your wardrobe.  And if you’re going to live here…. do you want to live in New York? Or I could go back to the family farm, less people out there.  Someone needs to take it over.” He muttered the last part to himself.   Falklands, then Nebraska.  He left Nebraska to find excitement. Now? Well, he’d died, come back, helped found the Avengers, negotiated between realms, become a Prince Consort, and now the husband to a Succubus. He’d found excitement allright.

The Falklands would probably be a good place too.  Provided there wasn’t an international/interrealm incident, it would be nice to get to know her. To really know her. She hadn’t been talking to much. Was New York too much? “I understand.” He said looking up at her.  She really quite pretty, with her red hair. And she seemed to have a good heart. “You’re worried how they would react?”

“This is my wardrobe. I have more of the same. But t is all arriving from home soon.” She plucked lightly at her gown, which revealed as much as it hid. All her outfits were like that, made to seduce, since that was her function. Though she supposed the humans would like her more demure than that.

“I think we can take time figuring out where we want to live. I would like to visit those places before we decide to settle down in them.” Perhaps they would find somewhere they enjoyed together, rather than a place chosen by just one of them. That certainly seemed to be what he wanted.
