Typhoon Trami

We just came back to Japan and we were lucky to land in Tokyo before typhoon Trami hit the city. In fact Trami was a strong typhoon, it actually felt as strongest one in this year in Tokyo.

Usually after typhoon the weather is beautiful and sunny. Today it is exactly like that but also in the morning there were a lot of trees destroyed,

branches can be found in many places

and some of the bikes are on the ground

Actually even the net protecting balconies of our dormitories was thorn apart and have fallen down

Fortunately Tokyo was not hit so strongly this time and the winds and rains were stronger in the other parts of Japan. Somehow this years is full of extreme weather conditions:(

Wind chimes festival

The wind chimes festival in Kawagoe was quite a nice event. Unfortunately it was a bit overcrowded and actually it is not that big as I have imagined. The main problem was in my too high expectations ;) But still it was quite a charming event. The chimes make a nice sound once wind is blowing.
