Ramblings of a depraved angel

It feels to me, to wonder

how rose bushes feel.

If they were to grow so intertwined with one another that not even the universe itself knows them apart anymore.

Once I was a bramble bush.

Thorned, hostile and vicious.

Now,

I am thorned,

yes.

But I am also so many beautiful blossoms.

Blossoms I never knew to be.

Is this what I've left of my other, or what I've grown to be?

I do not know.

And yet...

...I do not care.

I have become beautiful, in a way I knew not before.

Today,

I have bloomed.

Tomorrow,

I shall do so again.

Farewell,

to that who has shown me what it is to let my thorns fall away,

and to grow.

to be something better than I am now.

Farewell,

to that who has become,

and shall never be again,

my other.

and shall never be again.
