I’m just... saying... Pete can be loud. Libraries are... quiet.

“Short bread! Simple, yes, but that’s what the icing is for. Guess what shape they’re in.” Certainly not circles! “The icing and sprinkles will make them very exciting. I’m using natural dyes too, just to see how it works out.” 

She gasps and smiles, “I love short bread! And with vanilla or strawberry icing-- oh dear.”

“You came just in time! I just put some cookies in the oven and I was about to prepare the icing!”

Eliza holds up a plastic tupperware container that holds at least a dozen macaroons.
