There's clues beyond this drawing, we have basically a Barbie doll worldbuilding where a church, a gas station and a the postal office (now sheriff office) are set in the same block. The hotel has no hotel. The school (now clinic) has no playground. No garbage collection needed.
Electricity comes from fake wires. Running water, food and animals just appear.
So, actually this drawing is more like a confirmation to me. That Fromville isn't an ancient vilage that ended up cursed, but both the town and the monsters' tunnels are part of the same sandbox.

That's why for Victor being out of peaches is upsetting, not because he's literally out but because it's a big change that had never happened in all his years trapped in Fromville. Like the trees changing.
