"Protect the Forest"

MAGLITE has great reviews across the internet for its functions. For some that are thinking that its as simple as a flash light well, it has some functions you just don't realize just yet.

To explain it further here are some;

1. On the image above Solitaire has a strap which you can attach to your keys. Its made longer so you can put light on the key while you use it on dark areas.

2. Light can also be changed. either use it as a normal spotlight or as a candle.

3. Whats more with this small flashlight is its packed with an extra bulb if in case it burns out at times you needed it most.

(P20.00) 1530 Back at Evercrest; clean-up at nearby sari-sari store, rest. Option 1: 1600 Board bus back to Manila 1900 ETA Manila Option 2: 1600 Side trip to Tagaytay.

Location: Cuenca, Batangas

Jumpoff point: Mountaineer's Store, Brgy. 7, Cuenca

Exit point: Brgy 5, Cuenca

Days required / Hours to Rockies / Summit : 1 day / 1-3 hrs / 1-2 hrs

Specs: Minor, Difficulty 3/9 (Rockies); 4/9 (Traverse)

Features: Scenic views of Taal Lake, rock formations, forests

March 10, 2012 (Saturday)

0430 Meet up at Jam Bus Station (Buendia)

0500 Board Lipa-bound bus from Buendia (P130/person)

0630 ETA Lipa City. Board Cuenca-bound bus (P30/person)

0715 ETA Cuenca  Muncipal Hall. Take trike to jump-off (P10/person). Pay P10 registration fee per person.

0730 Start trek

1030 Arrival at campsite, head to Rockies

1045 Arrival at Rockies; take pictures.

1100 Back to campsite for lunch. Rest.

1200 Leave for the summit

1300 ETA Summit of Mt. Maculot. Rest.

1330 Start descent to Grotto

1430 Arrival at Grotto. Rest.

1500 Resume descent.

1600 Arrival at exit point. Rest.

1630 Take trike back to Cuenca Municipal Hall.

1645 Board Lipa-bound jeep.

1730 ETA Lipa City. Early dinner.
