Getting closer to God is a deeply personal journey built on simple, consistent habits rather than adding strict rules to your life. You can foster this connection by praying throughout the day, meditating on a single Bible passage, serving those around you, and being radically honest with Him about your struggles. [1, 2]
Here are a few ways to practically build that relationship:
Include Him in ordinary moments:Â Instead of only saving your prayers for formal, quiet settings, try talking to God naturally while doing daily tasks like commuting or washing dishes. [1, 2]
Slow Scripture reading:Â Focus on quality over quantity. Read a short passage from the Gospels (like the book of Luke) and spend time letting that message shape your thoughts and attitude for the day. [1, 2]
Where you begin matters less than taking the first step. You can easily access The Bible App or listen to the audio Bible on YouVersion to help you establish a simple, daily routine that works for your schedule. [1, 2]
âď¸
God always with you even if on a sunny day and someone has let you down never give up. Do not turn on God who is the wrong choice to turn on God even if you think itâs the right choice itâs the wrong choice to do.
Seeking God's advice involves a few simple, actionable steps:Â ask for wisdom in prayer, read the Bible to align your heart with His principles, seek out wise counsel from trusted mentors, and wait patiently for His peace to guide your next step
VICTORIOUS DOCO
Fans have suspected a feud between Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande since the cancellation of Victorious. Shortly after the show's cancellation was announced by Nickelodeon in August 2012, fans suspected that the reason for this was the new spin-off show "Sam & Cat" in which Ariana plays one of the two main roles next to former iCarly star Jennette McCurdy.
Because of that, Ariana received a lot of hate comments from the Victorious fanbase on her social media platforms. After the last episode of Victorious aired in February 2013, Victoria and Ariana posted indirect comments targeting each other on Twitter and Ask.fm after a fan claimed on Ariana's Ask.fm account that she was the reason for the cancellation.
Ariana responds to an accusation from a fan on Ask.FmQuestion: "Actually no nobody said that and even if they did this is different because Sam & Cat ruined Victorious. All those other shows had closure. Victorious didn't have closure because of Sam & Cat no matter what you people (you and Dan) say. You're obviously just trying to protect yourselves from the hate". (Obviously a response to a previous answer)
Victoria reacts to Ariana on TwitterAriana's answer: "Sweetheart the only reason Victorious ended is because 1 girl didn't want to do it. She chose to do a solo tour instead of a cast tour. If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam & Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise. I'm tired of this bs".[1]
Shortly afterwards Victoria replied on Twitter: "Some people would throw some1 that they consider a friend under the bus just 2 make themselves look good". #StopBeingAPhony #IfTheyOnlyKnew Ariana replied on Twitter: "You just can't hide from the truth"

However, Ariana apologized a short time later after a fan said on Ask.fm that the fanbases were now fighting. Fan: "Do you just like to start drama..... Now the fanbases are fighting. Good f**king job -_-"
Ariana: "No I don't that's why I deleted it. If you think for one second that I did this on purpose you're out of your mind. I really didn't mean it. People already saw it and screen shotted it but I shouldn't have done it and I apologize. It's really really hard being blamed for something you didn't do and HATED on so hard for so long when you don't deserve it so I just snapped like a little kid. Even though I was defending myself it was very immature. I sincerely apologize, it really wasn't a good choice. I don't want anybody to hate on anybody".
Ariana's apology on Ask.Fm
But the damage was already done. Their fans got into a huge war. Both actresses received a lot of hate comments and stopped following each other on Twitter.
However, a short time later, Ariana re-followed Victoria on Twitter, but Victoria didn't follow Ariana back at the time.
Nickelodeon never gave a reason why Victorious ended. Executive producer Dan Schneider wrote on his blog that many shows at Nickelodeon end after 60 episodes. He and the entire cast wanted a 4th season, but it wasn't up to him to decide, and Sam & Cat was not to blame for Victorious's cancellation.[2]
Nickelodeon relieves Victoria
Because of Ariana's claim, that Victoria's solo tour (Make It In America Tour 2012) was to blame for the end of Victorious, a Twitter user asked Nickelodeon directly if this was true. Nickelodeon replied with a short: No.
Ariana's interview with the Seventeen magazine
In a June 2013 interview with teen magazine Seventeen, Ariana discussed some drama with a former co-star without naming the person or when it happened. She said "I worked with someone who told me they'd never like me," "But for some reason, I just felt like I needed her approval. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy."
People and media believed that the former co-star Ariana was talking about was Victoria as many still remembered the argument they had from February. Because of this, Victoria was made out by fans to be the bully. However Ariana cleared up the matter quickly and texted Victoria privately "Oh my gosh. I am so sorry, you know how the media twists words. I was not talking about you, obviously. I was talking about someone on Broadway (2008) that I had worked with."
She also wrote on Twitter: "Sometimes things get blown out of proportion and misquoted. I'm really not a fan of drama. I guess just breath and move on." #allLove

Ariana's statement on Tumblr
Victoria responds to a fan on Twitter
In addition, Ariana wrote a statement on Tumblr: "It's my responsibility to clear up the drama today. I was misquoted in an interview and I've been very upset and disappointed all day. I was asked about bullying and I thought I'd share some of my personal experiences so that I could share how I over came it with my fans and hopefully be a help to the people who look up to me and are dealing with being bullied. However, unfortunately I was a little too vague in my interview and conclusions were drawn and fingers were pointed. My years filming Victorious were some of the HAPPIEST of my life and that cast is family to me. (The stories I were sharing were actually from 2008 when I was on Broadway. Was an amazing experience but a tough time for me.) Please please don't send hate to anyone. It's undeserved. The point of answering the question in the first place was to help those of you who are dealing with bullying, not to start drama. I apologize for the commotion. Love you guys VERY much. Thank you for being here for me and for supporting me."
Victoria cleared the non-existing drama up herself when she responded to a fan on Twitter who confronted her with the statements from Ariana's Seventeen interview. Victoria tweeted: @kristenLTFU - Ariana wasn't talking about me, she was talking about her experience on Broadway. How does it feel to have misinformation? @victoriajustice - lol I just read an interview where it says yours name so @kristenLTFU - It never said my name and she apologized to me. She said she was misquoted by Seventeen. #GetTheFactsStraight Even though the matter seemed settled, many still believed there was a feud between the two because Victoria didn't follow Ariana back and was not present at the Victorious reunion later in May 2013 (although Daniella wasn't there either). However, Victoria and Ariana were seen hugging at the 2014 Kids Choice Awards in the Blimp Cam 2 when the Victorious cast attended to honor Dan Schneider's Lifetime Achievement Award, suggesting that there was no more bad blood between them. Shortly afterwards, the two also took a picture together off stage.

Victoria's interview with TMZ
Victoria on The Meredith Vieira show
When Victoria hit the headlines with her new show Eyecandy in January 2015, a video from TMZ went viral where Victoria is questioned by a reporter about the alleged feud with Ariana at Los Angeles airport. Reporter: "Is there any part of you that regrets breaking up the band with Ariana Grande?" Victoria: "I did not break up anything; that's complete misinformation because first of all, I had no control over leaving the show or the show ending, that was completely up to Nickelodeon and the executives and I love the cast and I love doing Victorious but I did had nothing to do with whether or not there was a Victorious tour". "There is much more to this story that people don't know, I can spare to blame that on me". Reporter: "I'm just saying just since then there has been a bit of a feud so to speak with you and Ariana Grande which may or may not be based in reality but that's what people saying". Victoria: "No, I mean there is no feud I just talked about this in Seventeen magazine like we're not like best friends but at the end of the day I wish her well and she's doing great and I'm happy for her". Reporter: "Is there a competitiveness between you two?" Victoria: "No, I mean we're on our own different paths, doing our thing".[3]
Two weeks later, at the end of January 2015, Victoria was a guest on the Meredith Vieira Show to set the record straight again on the alleged feud with Ariana. Meredith: "You have addressed this before this whole controversy with Ariana Grande the so called feud you've said is not true it keeps coming up over and over and over it's back again in the news, first of all set the record straight and why do you think it keeps coming back". Victoria: "Okay I would love to set the record straight because I feel like these rumors have been going on for way too long. So, basically there was an article in Seventeen magazine (2013) where she had said that she was bullied on set and the magazine basically alluded to it being me. So, once the article came outâactually before it came outâshe texted me privately and was like, "Oh my gosh. I am so sorry, you know how the media twists words. I was not talking about you, obviously. I was talking about someone on Broadway that I had worked with." But once it got out there like everyone thought that I was this bully and that I was mean to her which couldn't be further from the truth like sure we have had our differences but at the end of the day like everyone in the cast of Victorious was a family and I love and respect all of them and I wish all of them well no matter what and it was just this ongoing thing and then people were blaming me saying that I was selfish for going on tour and that I was the reason why Victorious was cancelled which first of all couldn't be further from the truth because I am NOT a Nickelodeon executive I have absolutely no power over whether or not the show continued on and a lot of the other cast members didn't want to go on a Victorious tour anyways so it was just kind of unfair and it was this whole thing and hopefully now she's talked about it I've talked about it there is no feud we can put this behind this now and we can practice what Frozen preaches my friends and let it go"[4]
Although Victoria didn't want to address the rumors at first, some people kept her silence as confirmation that they might be true so she decided to take a stand and clarify the matter. She said to E! News âIâm really glad that I was actually able to clear up those rumors,ââThose have been going on for a while, and I kind of had this mindset like, âIgnore the haters, Iâm not going to feed into this negative nonsense,â but I think people took my silence as being guilty, and actually that wasnât the truth at all.â
When questioned by E! Online in an interview in January 2015 about whether a future music collaboration with Ariana, Victoria seemed totally open to it. "I mean I don't know, who knows. Maybe one day!" "She's doing great with her music and I wish her the best and continued success."[5]
Victorious reunion 2015
While talking to Entertainment Tonight, in April 2015 Victoria said. "I think we're kind of both on our own separate paths right now. I've been more focused on acting and she's doing her singing thing and doing awesome."[6]
In December 2015 the last doubts of the skeptics were dispelled when the whole cast of Victorious reunited for a sleepover in onesies at what appeared to be Liz Gillies house to celebrate the holidays together, watching some old episodes of their show, and reminisce, i.e, the Victorious Christmas episode and the âLocked Upâ episode. This was the first time the ENTIRE cast has been together in a while.
The whole Ari/Vic feud story became quiet for a while until in late April 2017 someone posted an old interview of the Victorious girls from April 2010 by the Popstar Digital Magazine.
The girls interviewed by the Popstar Digital Magazine
In the interview, the girls shared something about each other that people may not yet know. Daniella: "I'm gonna tell you something about Victoria Justice you might not be aware of. You probably don't know how much a rockstar she is, like I witnessed her performing some stuff for Victorious and it's blown my mind. So stay tuned it's really really rockstartastic". Victoria: "Something you might not know about Daniella Monet is that she's actually like she's a vegan I didn't even know this belongs to but she keeps it like she's like very cool. She always has those vegan rice crispy treats she eats all day and it's a good influence for me because I love junk food so it's awesome". Ariana: "Something that you guys don't know about Liz Gillies is that she's like obsessed with taking pictures like even if you're are not in the mood for taking pictures she's like come on it will be funny and she'll make you like model for her like a full-on photo shoot". Liz: "One thing you donât know about Ariana Grande is that she literally sings everything. Like, she has started to forget to talk in her own voice, because she sings everything, and itâs a good thing because she has a beautiful voice, but itâs awesome. She sings absolutely everything; she never stops". Daniella: "That's not true Liz you sing a lot too. Like especially during rehearsals". Victoria: "I think we all sing, we all". Ariana: "That's true". Daniella: "Yeah. I sing the weirder things, I sing really weird".[7]
Victoria reacts to the I think we all meme
Because of her body language (rolling eyes) during the interview, especially while Liz was describing Ariana, people accused Victoria of being rude, envious and jealous of Ariana. A short time later, a 30 second video of the interview made the rounds which explicitly highlighted Victoria's I think we all part and the meme was born. People started posting the meme for example under many videos of Victoria on Youtube just to annoy her and get cheap likes. Especially when Victoria wrote something on an Instagram post by Ariana, she was bombed with the meme.
The viral moment forced Victoria to speak up yet again about the feud rumors. On Twitter, she wrote: "I think we ALL have better things 2 do than dredging up 7 yr old non-existent drama,". "That said, I'm kind of excited to finally be a meme." In an interview with E! News in August 2017 Victoria was asked about the meme. She said: "When the meme came out Ariana texted me and said "This is so ridiculous! I am so sorry for you that you have to go through this". People still use the meme to this day!
By the way, Ariana and Victoria didn't use to follow each other (other than Ariana on Twitter) on Instagram and Twitter until 2017 when the two followed each other on everything again.
Victoria congratulates Ariana on the Thank you, next video
When Ariana released her music video for her hit single Thank u, next in November 2018, where Matt, Liz and Daniella make appearances among others, people brought back the non-existing feud with Victoria because she wasn't part of the video. Although Avan and Leon weren't part of the video either, it was clear to the people that Victoria and Ariana don't like each other. Victoria however showed her support for Ariana, liked the video and wrote on Ariana's Instagram post: "Congrats the video is awesome". Ariana replied with an heart emoji.
Victoria on why she had to leave Coachella early
In April 2019 Ariana had her big Coachella 2019 performance on the third day of the festival. Victoria also attended the Coachella festival with her sister Madison and was eager to see Ariana on stage. According to this article from Hollywood Life, the two wanted to meet at the festival since Victoria found out Ariana was performing.[8] Unfortunately, she had to leave the festival early on the third day and to avoid any rumors, she posted a video in which she said: "Almost home. Back in LA. Unfortunately I had to leave earlyâI didn't get to experience any of Coachella day three, which is such a bummer." She continued, "There are so many artists I wanted to see. And of course I wanted to see Ariana tonight. But I know sheâs going to have an amazing show, and she's going to kill it..." It is unknown why Victoria had to leave early.[9]
When Victorious celebrated its 10th anniversary in March 2020 the whole cast (including Dan Schneider and Eric Lange) actually wanted to meet together to celebrate. However, due to COVID-19 it became a virtual Zoom meeting which lasted over 2 hours. The cast talked about the old days and were happy to see each other again. While the cast was simultaneously exchanging messages on Instagram during the meeting, a female "fan" tried to bring the "I think we all" meme back into play when she posted it under one of Liz Gillies's posts. Ariana got a little annoyed and defended Victoria with the words: "Shut the f**k up." Victoria posted a picture of the meeting and wrote on Instagram: "This made me happy. 10 years later. Can't even believe it".
Victorious reunion 2020
Considering Ariana and Victoria have been pitted against one another for the last decade mostly by toxic fans and the media, the two get along better than ever today. Victoria has been supporting Ariana for years and is happy about her great successes. When Victoria started to release music again after 7 years in December 2020, Ariana showed her support when she congratulated her on her song Treat Myself on her Instagram story. She wrote: "Congratulations my friend @victoriajustice this is so so beautiful" Victoria replied: "Ari, ily. Thank you" She also liked her song Stay, Victoria released in February 2021.
Ariana defends Victoria on Instagram
During her promotion for her new film "Trust" in March 2021, Victoria was also asked about various topics regarding Ariana, including the alleged feud and Ariana's support of her music. In an interview with "Chicks in the Office", she said about the alleged feud, "All of that drama, whatever, all of that stuff, it's so silly," "A lot of it really came from, like, the media, like fanning those flames and then just people online, like, fanning those flames and making it this huge crazy thing." "It is a little frustrating to see how people do love to pit women against each other," and said that she and Ariana are fully in touch. "I think at the end of the day, it's all about us supporting each other and building each other up," she said. "I love Ariana, and sheâs killing it right now. And sheâs been so supportive of me and my music. And you know, we text. Itâs really cool. So, everything's all good."[10]

Victoria during Coachella 2023
In an interview with "Entertainment Tonight", Victoria was asked what she says about the support from Ariana and whether there will be a duet at some point. She said: Yes, oh my gosh, I would love that, I would so be down for that. It's been so nice of having the support of her and the rest of my cast. You know, she texted me about when it first came out this whole long amazing sweet text, and it's just been so cool to support each other it's really beautiful and cool, and I'm just so excited she's killing it right now. I'm so happy for her, and everything is good."[11]
During Coachella 2023 weekend 1, Victoria gave an interview for E! News. Victoria revealed that she and Ariana have openly talked about the rift rumors and find the narrative to be ridiculous. She said: âAriana texted me and we both were like, âThis is so stupid.â I think the biggest rumor is this whole narrative that was created with me being jealous of her and of us not being friends,â she explained. âI feel like itâs this constant story of the media and people wanting to pit people against each other, and itâs just so not even relevant anymore now. I was like, âThis is so dumb.â Ten years later! How is this even a story? This is so stupid.â[12]
