Coffee and Turpentine: An Artist's Playground

I am really trying not to go overboard posting emo-depressing fb posts. I’m mad that I’m this upset over someone I didn’t really even know that well. I don’t know why I jump right in before I’m confident it’s going to work. 

I feel like I’ve been through this enough times to have protected my heart, but I guess rejection feels just as raw when you’re 28 as it does when you’re 15. 

So, I’m writing this for several reasons:

1. My parents aren’t on here.

2. I really don’t think he’s on here. He was up front with me and completely honest the whole time, so I don’t want him to feel bad for me (or think I’m a crazy person for being this weird about it), even though I’m hurting because of him. 

3. I just need to get it out there somewhere.

So today’s goal is simple: Do not look at any of his social media today. Not even a glance. Don’t do it. It won’t change anything, and it will just slow down my process of moving on.
