Crypasta is the name of my creepypasta AU! If you are sensitive to: horror, murder, religious trauma, violence, and mentioned abuse/SA it might be best if you skip out on it. I don't plan to go particularly hard on some of the more graphic elements, but they are there. Everything will be tagged accordingly
This a mix of Canon, Fanon, and my own HCs. I take inspiration from various au's so not every idea is entirely my own! I'm also not the best writer so this will be a learning process lol
Crypasta revolves around many of the creepypasta characters in the heavily fictionalized town of Cedar Springs, Michigan, and its nearby (fictional) city Wentford. The AU has many stories and rewrites inside of it, but no concrete ongoing story as of now. Crypasta is just a way to put the creeps in a setting that can be both realistic and fun with my hcs!
Cedar Springs is a run-down rural town that seems to attract the unusual. Serial killers, the paranormal, and cryptids all seem to be drawn to this unassuming place. Cedar Springs is extremely isolated and is the home the unkempt, forgotten Silverwood National Park, where many make it their home. The town has frequent disappearances, but no one seems to know or care about the people who go missing. The people of the town don't even whisper amongst themselves, time seems to hold still from the second you enter to when you leave.
Crypasta will have a focus on themes like religious trauma, forgiveness, guilt, regression, self-discovery, and family.
