April 30: I find myself talking to you in my head. Full conversations. Explanations. Apologies I’ll never get to give. Sometimes I even argue with the phantom version of you. It’s a dangerous game, this internal monologue. It keeps you alive, even when you’re dead to me. Or I’m dead to you. Which is it? Does it matter?
