"Daddy, daddy, I made you a drawing. Happy daddy's day." Lia to Thomas.

Thomas replied opening his arms wide for her. She wrapped her small arms around his neck and he picked her up.
“I love it. I would put it in my office.
He promised like he did with all of her other drawings. He had a whole bunch of them on one of his walls.
She turned in his arms and showed him who was in the picture. It was him, Victoire and Amelia in the middle holding both of their hands. Big red hearts were at the top of drawing.
“I love it. And, I love you.”
It wasn’t this first Father’s Day but this one was special. It was the first one where she was giving him something she made herself and chose to do.
He loved her so much. Much more than he thought he could after his own fucked-up father. He was thinking that maybe he was doing something right when Amelia was looking at him like that.
She said and kissed his cheek. He grinned caressing her back. He had never felt as happy as he was with her and Victoire. She continued to talk about her drawing and how she made it with sparkles and colors.
Thomas then walked them to the kitchen to bake a chocolate cake. It was another tradition of them now. Lia loved baking and what she liked the most was licking the batter at the end. He looked at her and kissed her forehead loving. He turned his head toward Victoire and he hoped that she could see how much he loved her from giving him Lia.
