Given how I've been getting questions regarding my decrease in activity and, specifically, my lack of updates on AO3, I figured I'd make a post to explain, using the scattered answers I've already given (reduce, reuse, recycle)

First of all I want to thank you all so, so much. Knowing there's people who are still hoping for more, despite the unintended hiatus, genuinely means the world to me! 🖤

The short answer is: I want to get back to the writing. As I've said before, I have a skeletal outline ready and add ideas when I can. It's not abandoned, however I am currently unable to continue the story.

Unfortunately, my physical health is at a point where I struggle through 'regular days' and don't get around to doing much of anything, including the things I enjoy. Writing is especially hard due to the 'brain fog'. Even responding to messages is a whole task now. So, I usually refer to drawing rather than writing on the days it's a little better, as it's less of a mental effort.

I am working hard on any recovery. Hopefully, with time, luck, and effort, I might get some ability back and when I do, I'll 100% be back to writing as well! I can't say when that'll be, it's just on pause until things get a little better 💪

So, in summary: the AO3 curse is real and I intend to get back to the writing the moment I'm able to again.

Your fic: The Exact Anatomy of the (ir)redeemable Mind is one of the very first longfics I ever got into. I know you haven’t updated it in a while, so I just wanted to ask if it was still ongoing?

I'll probably combine these scattered answers into a proper post at some point as I know that, despite the occasional remark on bsky, I haven't actually done a proper info post about the status of things.

The TLDR is that I really want to get back to the writing as I have so many ideas and still a full outline that indicates where the story will go next. It's definitely not abandoned, however I am currently unable to continue writing.
