Inquisitor Angua of the Ordo Hereticus. Sheβs supposed to be the same Inquisitor from the bike I posted way earlier, only on foot and in armour.
Like seemingly all of the minis in my army, this has something of a story. I bought this back when it was pretty new. Given that itβs a metal Sisters of Battle miniature that makes it older than a lot of people playing the game right now. It sat in its blister pack for many years before I started on it and thatβs when I noticed a lot of the face was missing. The metal hadnβt filled out quite all of the mold. I could have tried getting a replacement from Games Workshop but instead I went for the green stuff and gave it a facemask, which I painted with a skull, because frankly my sculpting skills are a bit cackhanded at best and it came out wonky.
Meet prisoner 362915. A former Imperial Guard officer convicted of dereliction of duty, for failing to take an objective as ordered, and insufficient dedication to the Emperor, for failing to die in attempting to secure that objective, he was sentenced to βdie in battleβ. 362915 suffered horrendous wounds over the course of several battles but, because he somehow survived each one, the 22ndβs chirurgeons had to patch him up and send him back out every time, lest they be accused of trying to subvert Imperial Justice.
The recipient of more than a dozen cybernetic body-part replacements, 362915 garnered the unwelcome reputation as βthe Emperorβs most hatedβ as it became obvious he had not yet repaid his debt to Him-On-Earth and he wasnβt allowed to die until he had. Eventually, more machine than human, the techpriest attached to the 22nd decided to install what was left of 362915 into the body of a Luther Pattern Excavation Automata rather than waste any more bionics on him.
Made from a Necromunda Ambot and a rummage in the bits box, some decals from Green Stuff World. In game terms I might field him as an Ogryn bodyguard, or possibly a counts-as sentinel.
Initial idea shamelessly stolen from Twitter user @ChrisFrosin
Iβve never been a fan of the Tempestus Scion models. These Stormtroopers use the Cadian bodies with Skitarii heads and carbines.
The techpriest attached to the XXII sometimes does some borderline unauthorised experimentsβ¦
I have a second box of Skitarii plus the Hoplite conversion pack from ForgeWorld. I may make a second unit of these using the Vanguard heads with the Rangerβs long rifles.
In the grim darkness of the 41st millennium even horses have to stand on junk. There is no floor, only endless piles of junk.
Some lucky people get rocks.

I am old enough to remember when the Rhino was the Imperiumβs daily workhorse rather than a super-special Astartes only ride, and the Imperial Guard used them as armoured transport. The 22nd had a Rhino as Colonel Ironfistβs personal command vehicle, but that got converted to the Praetorian Pattern Leman Russ.
Using an Aries conversion kit from Blood & Skulls Industry and a set of heraldry decals from Green Stuff World I decided to rectify the situation. The history I wrote for the 22nd tells of a pair of Rhinos gifted to the regiment. Now both are represented.
Iβve had this one a while, itβs an Adeptus Arbites urban patrol vehicle commandeered as a Hellhound (or maybe a ChimeraβI have a unit of Necromunda Palanite Enforcers in the TBM pile that could use a ride). But I decided it looked too nice, and needed a battering.
Also I never posted it here before.
Capricorn top, Pisces 8 wheel sides, and small V-Plow, all from Blood & Skulls Industry.
Correction: I did post this before. All the way down there.
Stock model but an unusual subject. Brakkar the Avenger from the original Necromunda range. Thinking of making him a counts-as autocannon gunner with the Ratskin scout as his loader.
Native guide types for the 22nd
Bit of a kitbash here. Used some bits from my bits box to make a sanctioned psyker. Proudly continuing GWβs tradition of giving the figure a pistol that couldnβt possibly fit in the empty holster on its belt.
Iβd stuck the head in place before I thought about turning it a bit to the side to give a more dynamic look, but Iβm happy with it overall.
Inquisitor Keelβsorry, Rogue Trader Keelβneeds an escort when heβs out and about in the Pegasus. What better to bring down the Emperorβs white hot fury on those who would mess with one of His traders than a Leman Russ Executioner?
Front plate, back plate and exhausts, armored side skirts, and bulldozer blade from Blood & Skulls. Decals from Green Stuff World and Ginfritterβs Gnomish Workshop. The Pegasus emblems are nail art decals by Moon Sugar Decals.

For some reason Iβm becoming obsessed with Vindicare assassins, and this is my third. This is Mortaria Noctis from the Iron Empire range by Raging Heroes.
Felt like the 22nd needed a sanctioned psyker and Iβm not a fan of the existing weirdos. Here is The Lady of Distaff from Webway Miniatures, and my turntable display base.
Ever felt the need to paint something a bit different? Lilith the Demoness from Artel W Miniatures. This has no place in the Praetorian 22nd but it was a fun model nonetheless.
Picked up another RT figure from eBay. From the days before Astra Militarum, from the days before Imperial Guard, this is Imperial Army female trooper with lasgun, sold under the names Vaskez and Rutherford in 1987 and β88.
Inquisitor Keel often travels under the guise of a Rogue Trader. When he does, his personal transport is the Pegasus, a custom Chimera. It mounts a heavy flamer that fires via the nostrils of a decorative horseβs head.
This uses the Governor wrap-around tread kit, the Mounting Wings set, and the Barmkin open-top conversion kit from Blood and Skulls Industry, along with a head from a Warhammer Fantasy Bretonnian knight.

Malcador Defender. This has been sitting in the to-be-painted compound for quite some time, so I decided it was time to get it finished.
An utterly unconverted miniature, for a change.
