Buffalo Community Fridges has a Target Registry. the get involved page says they prefer physical donations of unexpired food over monetary donations, but if youre like me and not anywhere near buffalo, you can help with this.
I am from Buffalo and have lived here all my life, and this terrorist attack was really scary. I live 2 miles away from where it happened and my sister works 2 blocks away from the store where it happened. I'm lucky enough to be fine and not know anybody who was killed or hurt but it easily could've been different.
There's a high crime rate but this was unlike anything that's ever happened here. The whole area is in mourning and in shock and the people who live around where the attack happened are hurting particularly bad. The store where the attack happened is the only grocery store in that neighborhood and now it's unavailable. It's a poor area and there's not a lot of options and now they have even less. Donating if you can would be extremely helpful and if you can't, sharing would be helpful too.
I don't normally post about this type of thing but it's important to me. Somebody came from hours away to OUR home and took 10 of OUR people. I'm disgusted and I'm furious. Please help if you can. Things in that part of Buffalo were already bad and now it's even worse.
