God DAMN our new vinyls are so pretty - and this is the normal version, it’s not even the cute limited edition George orange splatter! For anyone wondering what this is, it’s a 172-musician Ska/Punk/Folk record that took 4 years to make, starting with travel and ending remotely during the lockdown. :: OUR VINYL HAVE ARRIVED!!!!! All of the pre-sales come with an art print, a personalised written postcard from here in Glastonbury where the album was mixed and mastered, and stickers, not to mention Pookout goodies too! There’s only a few of the limited edition George Orange Vinyl left, and pre-sales are only open until the 20th - From then on, it’s on full release and the goodies are all gone! My god, are those discs good looking! Anyway, here’s a vlog about packing up the first bunch of pre-sales at Pookout Records HQ!

:: It’s always fun to fully flip the script. For this week’s youtube video, instead of a vlog about us and our project/band/thang, we turned to four awesome podcasters & radio presenters who helped out with our album release, to see what got them started, why they do what they do, and basically all round popping the spotlight onto them :) It was a super interesting time to hear their perspective on the scene we all love and live, eat and breathe - it’s a long one, so grab a coffee, put your feet up and - well, don’t fall asleep, but hope you dig it!

:: New vlog day - aaaand it’s s lyrics deep dive! When out travelling recording our 172-musician album “The First One”, we worked with not only old friends from touring years back, but also brand new people we’d never met before.... ....Jenny from Florida Ska/Punks Tef London was just one of those, so we video chatted about reaching out across the pond, actually turning up, and about her lyrics for what became our song “Not Gonna Settle”.

:: New Vlog Day!! We’ve got an update on the vinyl delivery, including a song by Pook (haha), AND we’re having an album release show in November... AND you can get involved with what comes next too! All that in 3 minutes and something seconds (I forgot how many) for yer eyes and ears this fine sunny sunday arvo.

:: Bit of a change for our weekly Youtube video this week.. We’d had this behind the scenes footage from filming Keep Summer Safe’s ever since the shoot back last year pre-covid, so thought we’d combine a video of bands larking around with some “how-to-on-a-budget” tips for filming music videos too!

:: Well, it was was high time for a classic AMA episode. Yup, the ask me anything train rolled up into our station this week! Zero regrets (mostly), there’s (some) useful information in there, and generally just a good ol’ digital chinwag with our lovely community. Get yourself a beer and tune in / tune out for half an hour. Alriiiiight!

:: We can’t make music videos right this second due to covid.. ..so we went through the video archives from our 2017 USA Road Trip, right at the start of recording our 172-musician album, so that you could still put faces to the voices! We dive into how Californian Ska-Punks Chase Long Beach become good pals with UK Punk-Ska Mob Fandangle before even touring together back in 2007, and we dive into the writing & recording of singer Karen Robert’s vocals on our 172-musician album track ‘Won’t Back Down”.
