When Gwaine had finally gone back to his room to shower and change he'd smiled at the note he'd round under his door. Spending no more time than needed there, he headed out again with hair still dripping wet.
He smiled a little to find her asleep on one of the window sills, and a little more at how quickly she jumped up when she heard him enter.
"He is, and he's ok," he leaned down to scoop her into a hug. This is what he'd been craving more than the shower and change. After a long moment he pulled back just enough to turn his head and place a prolonged kiss to her cheek. "Thank you for everything you did for us,"
Andromeda was all too relieved by those words and by the feeling of Gwaine’s arms around her then. It was incredibly heavy to see the pain and worry that this had caused Gwaine, Ava, and Odette. But now they could all breathe a bit easier again, or at least she would hope so. “Thank the Angel,” she whispered softly.
At the kiss to her cheek and accompanying words she couldn’t help but smile. “You hardly have to thank me for checking on you all, don’t be silly. I only wish I could have done more for you.”
