What would you think of me now? So lucky, so strong, so proud?

Someone asked me tonight why I go to Disney so much. And I instantly heard your laugh in the back of my mind. You would always call me princess and tell me how crazy I was for loving Disney so much. But you always said that was your favorite thing about me. That I chose to believe in all that magic. It’s coming up on a year almost that you've been gone and I still am seeing you everywhere. I catch myself laughing sometimes at some of the stupid shit you would say. And I miss it. I miss your dumb texts telling me how one day we were gonna date because I needed a “real man”. I miss yelling at you across the kitchen at Tijuana. I miss our stupid secret kitchen meetings just so we could talk to each other. I miss seeing you at Millers with your friends and you always always bought me a beer. I miss that stupid smile that couldn’t help but turn my bad day into a better one. If I’ve learned anything in this last year, it’s to live everyday to the fullest. I think I’ll miss you for forever but like to think that you’re up there laughing at all of my crazy Disney days and reminding me to stop and take it all in. Because life is crazy and you don’t want me to miss a second of it.
