insane line of dialogue to drop in the first episode of the season titled "the beginning and the end" which is about the ways in which luffy's story mirrors that of roger's. the same roger whose story ended in that exact place after he sailed to laugh tale where he learned the story of what happened during the void century. *taps mic* IS THIS THING ON???

But this line? Shook me, not gonna lie. Very powerful stuff, in a world where real stories become fables, twisted into the narrative that the World Government wants to protect.
