Valentine for my girls🩵🧡❤️‍🔥
So, Sabrina’s aunts were hundreds of years old, never got married, and didn’t have any kids. This show did something to me.

Two of the most beautiful voices that I discovered this year are sitting together in the interview. Literally, I cried listening to them in theaters. What a wonderful pairing!
There are many good things I would like to say about the new Hunger Games movie. All the good things that a person can possibly say about the movie. The characters are so well-written, the acting is emotional and touching, the story is well-pasted and entertaining, and the visuals are beautiful. But it can all be said better by other people. I just want to dedicate this post to costume designs, specifically the academy uniform.Â
Don’t get me wrong, all the characters' outfits were beautiful, unique, and radiant with personality. But I love the good uniform, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it throughout the whole movie. I like the choice of colors, the silhouette, and how it behaves during the movement. And most of all, I like that it’s finally a unisex uniform with a skirt and not just women wearing men’s clothing. Maybe there are many other examples of that, but I haven’t seen one before. Long ago, I was trying to design something similar myself but didn’t come up with anything worthy. So, thank you for that uniform!
And go watch the movie if you want to. In theatres, with good sound, because Rachel Zegler’s sining is worth it.
I WISH
The LIST of my humble opinions on the new Disney’s animated movie «Wish" that we watched this Friday with my friend. Shout out to @owllooker! Just some random thoughts here, hehe.
Goods
1. I liked the villain, even despite the fact that his character arc felt like it was written by two different people. In the first half of the movie, he felt more like an anti-hero, and in the second, turned into a more classic villain. I WISH they committed to one option.
2. The music I enjoyed too, especially the song “At all costs”. It appeared in a weird moment and sounded purely like a love ballad, but it was such a lovely and warm song with charming lyrics. I WISH it was the king and queen's love song, and I WISH their relationship were developed differently.
Not so goods
1. Asha, being the protagonist, had no character development whatsoever. She was right, and then she was right, and then the end. No fun in that. King Magnifico had a more protagonist journey.
2. The visuals were boring. Plastic 3D animation, that wasn’t decorated with its main advantage - details.
3. The town looked like an empty version of Lord Farquaad’s castle.
4. All the character designs were boring. Apart from the king and queen - they looked like beautiful porcelain figurines.
5. I really don’t like modern words in fantasy writing. But it’s a personal thing.
6. That scene on the boat:
Asha’s mother: going through a terrible feeling of grief after literally losing a part of her soul.
Asha: let me make this about ME and make everyone comfort ME.
Not cool, Asha.
7. The moment at the end with the dress transformation that didn’t happen. Like, how dare you!?
8. They didn’t even make an effort to create beautiful final credits. It was a 100 years celebration with PNGs on a black background.
Anywaaay... At the end, I think it’s not a big deal that the movie turned out meh. If anything, it’s a very relatable moment when everything goes wrong on an important day. I WISH Disney all the best, and King Magnifico and «At all costs» were kind of worth it.
