I would like to urge those of you who can to financially support the Antifascist Internationalist Front Myanmar.

When the military took over Myanmar's government, protestors took to the streets in 2021. The government started killing people. And the people started shooting back. Former student protesters have largely fled to the jungle to form coalitions with existing local militias to oppose the military dictatorship. This movement recieved some attention in small leftist outlets in 2021 and 2022 for their use of 3D printed firearms, but overall, international support has been hard to drum up and it seems most westerners have forgotten about this civil war entirely.

I, and many other anarchists in the imperial core, saw ourselves in the young protesters in Myanmar. Particularly for those of us in the US, it was a striking picture of what might have happened if our 2020 uprising and the attempted J6 coup had gone slightly differently. The military dictatorship tortures those it captures, including by use of sexual violence, and uses indiscriminate airstrikes on civilian areas, resulting in horrific death and displacement.

The AIF is a group of internationalist fighters collaborating with local pro-democracy forces to fight the military dictatorship in Chin State. In addition to fighting on the frontlines themselves, they provide trainings to local people, with an emphasis on gender equality amongst their trainees. Fighters in the AIF are a mix of locals and internationalists from other countries: people who looked at the uprising in 2021, empathized with student fighters, and decided to step in and help - by leaving their homes and going to fight alongside the people of Myanmar themselves. 1 never use plywood or anything so heavy/splinterable for signs or protest shields. Invest time in making a battlejacket, arm shields, and shin shields.

2 you cannot stop a police horse by pressing on its chest. Get out the way. I don’t care what that pink haired rich white kid on tiktok said. Those things are trained to bowl you over and trample you; get out the way.

3 if you wanna trash the cop shields and masks, mix sand, finely crushed (used up) light bulbs, and paint and fill heavy duty water balloons with them (or condoms). If you’re good, these projectiles can be launched from a t shirt gun. When the cops go to clean their gear, the sand and finely crushed glass gouges the face shields/riot shields beyond repair. They must now spend money and time getting new ones, and meanwhile, they’re in short supply for the next riot. Be warned that if you get caught with these (in the USA), they will likely try to charge you with domestic terrorism. Be smart.

4 cover your face and all distinctive tattoos/birthmarks/scars. Don’t post pictures of yourself or others at the protest. It’s not a block party. They arrested a woman who set a cop car on fire because they had a pic of her tattoo and traced her unique shirt from an etsy purchase. Read “In Defense Of Smashing Cameras” and tell photojornos to fuck off; break their cameras if you have to. They will get people killed

5 cops lie. If you get bagged (again us centric advice), keep your mouth shut. It’s “I invoke the 5th” and “I invoke my right to legal counsel” on repeat no matter what they say or do.

6 stop dumping milk in people’s fucking eyes for tear gas. Not only do this mark darker skinned people for arrest, it’s inviting infection. Use only sterile water or saline solution on the face and in the eyes. (Likewise do not dump baking soda solutions in people’s eyes; while this is good for skin below the neck that has been affected by tear gas, it can scratch the cornea of the eye)

7 DO NO HARM. if you are not trained in CPR, how to use a tourniquet, how to intubate someone, tal tal tal, don’t try. Never try to treat people above your skill level because you could seriously injure them instead.

The majority of Atleans oppose cop city being built so that's tax payer money going to a unsupported cause without any vote.

With all the misogynic, transphobic, homophobic, and racist laws being pass right now, I fear that this facility will be used to further the fascism present in the U.S.

These pictures were taken by drone only three months from each other. The sediment and runoff from this alone far exceeds the national limit and it will only get worse with the chemical runoff from the explosives that will be used.

I know the world's sort of gone to the dogs lately but please please please don't let this go out of the public eye. If the police force can't train then the police force can't enforce these laws. Her hatespeech and relentless attacks on vulnerable minorities are directly responsible for such crimes as bomb threats on children’s hospitals, because they provide medically and psychiatrically appropriate, recognised and helpful aid to transgender children.

Because the stochastic terrorist Chaya Raichik openly shares the names and addresses of for example teachers who display a pride flag, perpetuating and boosting the hateful and revolting lie that LGBTQ+ people visibly existing and acceptance of LGBTQ+ people is “grooming”, she is actively contributing to hate, threats and attacks against people.

With that the extreme-right and the stochastic terrorist Chaya Raichik are enflaming a moral panic

against a minority by normalising the counterfactual narrative that the simple existence of this minority means children are under attack and are being sexually abused.

The extreme-right claims that the stochastic terrorist Chaya Raichik is just “repeating information already publically shared”. This is a lie. Instead she heavily editorialises the content she posts and she is a major vector of hatespeech, propaganda, dehumanisation and efforts to illegalise the public existence of LGBTQ+ people.
