A keyboard 1 volt per octave controller connected to a large breadboard containing any circuits I feel like building and then I could build it into a more permanent instrument. Like designing my own synthesizer I suppose

Update: the filter (in low pass mode), lfo and envelope all work perfectly. I need to figure out the two oscillators now. For some reason I can't get their wiring quite right. Oh well, this is how I learn! Also: I will be returning to school in a few days and will be moving back to Boston until late april, so my last update will be in the next few days. After I finish classes for the term in April, I will be able to continue posting progress and other random updates!
Here's the nearly complete wiring, an organized mess. You can see in the back left another some keyboard keys, a project I'd like to do: a keyboard for this synthesizer
Having some more fun with the limited parts that work mainly the envelope and the lfo, I'll have to go through my wiring again, but for now enjoy these strange sounds!!
After hours of wiring all I have is a lot of debugging to do and also ocean sounds using the noise generator and envelope generator. The lfo also seems to be partially working (the end of the video; warning it's loud)

Side build complete: Let’s hope this oscilloscope I built will help me debug my synth! (It’s currently probing it’s own test signal which is a square wave running at 1khz)
This is soon to be an oscilloscope for testing the signal out of the synth #projectsonprojects #projectsfordays
This is where my progress has reached thus far. Haven't had much time due to the holidays!
I've been spending lots of time wiring the panel to the board, and testing little bits at a time. No sound so far, hopefully I won't have too much debugging to do. Picture updates will be coming soon
Progress for the day! About halfway done with the panel, if that. I've got a lot more wiring to do

What a mess! At least for right now...
Here's some more sketchy clamping that I came up with
I got sick of standing here so I made a makeshift clamp from various heavy items, it seems to be working...
I don't have any clamps so I am the clamp. The enclosure is almost done! Just needs glue and time.
I really like how these cables came out. They may be kind of delicate but they feel so right (plus a little hot glue could probably alleviate the fragility)

The panel is looking like something you could actually buy now! I hope the knobs get here soon!
Here's the panel after a few coats of mod podge, it smudged but I kinda like it. I'm also making my own patch cables, really adds to the diy of this project haha
