Had a blast at Paramount Studios today. Got to hold an Oscar, your behind the scenes, look into soundstages (no pics of that), meet the guys who make everything that’s printed in the productions (from signage to fake money- and it’s only 4 guys!), and even saw props and costumes from a variety of films. Saw a few stars (I’m positive I saw Jonah Hill, but there were others I didn’t recognize), but the biggest stars I saw were Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (G1 Optimus was parked out in the parking lot; Bumblebee and Bay’s Optimus were in the prop shop). So I need to apologize to my parents- I wanted to get to the airport really early, because I KNEW traffic would be bad on the way there. And I KNEW it would take forever to get through security. So it took something like 20 minutes to get to the airport with no traffic going that way. And it took me 5 minutes to get through security. Meanwhile, the traffic WAS backed up- from Olive down to almost the Rock Road, which is the way back home. Oops. Lesson learned.
