I decided to let go of my ego and finally move Aiden to my multi with everyone else.

     JOHN WATCHES AIDEN in silence for a quiet moment, eyes blinks slowly and lids crease just the slightest in thought. Another beat before he answers the hacker, ❝ the remains of my son, ❞ and that is the truth in the bluntest sense. Chin angles up an inch and blue eyes stare back at the other, John knows he could have said some other annoyingly vague response but in this case? The truth with no tact will take him further than any lie or half truth ever could. No doubt Aiden will be surprised he has had a son. ❝ But that’s not what’ll interest you, not entirely at least––– ❞

          He goes abruptly still, eyes not lifting from the phone screen. Not that he absorbs any of what he’s seeing, given that particular bombshell. The remains of my son. The big guy never really seemed like that dad type. Honestly he doesn’t seem like the type who’d really be all that into even getting with someone long enough to procreate in the first damn place. (Then again, what does Aiden even know about him? He can make a few guesses, connect a few dots, but...)
