Nonsense

It’s always been so hard for me to be vulnerable and open about anything from my emotions to my interests. It’s just so much easier to keep it all inside so no one can know who I am and I was perfectly happy to keep it that way until this one guy just...kept saying hi to me, even when I was so in my head, I didn’t notice anyone was around. He kept saying hi, kept asking me about myself, kept trying to get to know me and before I knew it, he wasn’t just my best friend, he was also someone I was falling in love with. And now, 3 years later, I see how far we’ve come, as individuals and as a couple, and I couldn’t be more grateful that by some lucky chance we happened to cross paths. Now, I can’t imagine a single mundane experience that I don’t want to share with him because he makes every day brighter and I appreciate him with everything I have.
