The (European) sun is a deadly laser, stay safe everyone
☝️🤓 it’s because the further you move toward the earth’s poles, the lower the angle of the sun is at the hottest parts of the day, meaning the radiation hits your whole body, causing it to feel 10-20 degrees warmer than the thermometer reading will tell you. People from tropical climes, aka close to the equator, are used to the sun’s radiation hitting a much smaller target- their head and shoulders.
Also the further you move toward the poles the more pronounced the difference between the length of day and night is. Worst part of a far-north (or south) heatwave is it doesn’t get dark long enough for meaningful cooling.
It’s not the heat. It very literally is the sun.
During June Deportation in 1941 Estonia’s political and military leadership was deported/executed almost entirely, including 10 of 11 ministers and 68 of 120 members of parliament.

On 14th June 1941, 10 000 Estonians, 16 500 Latvians and 18 500 Lithuanians were deported to Siberia in animal wagons by Soviet authorities. More than half of them never returned to their homeland.
There seems to be a real chance of Trump dying on camera. Trying to remember a recent photo of him where he’s fully conscious.
Honestly that's what it feels like his management team is trying to avoid every time he disappears for a few days. His doctors think its the end and are scrambling to keep him going but just in case they can't make it work they keep him out of the public eye so if he does die it isn't on camera. Then he recovers enough to walk around and they schedule him for appearances until the next thing triggers their worry and they lock him in with the doctors to try and see if he'll survive the week.
Personally I would love if he toppled onto the pulpit and took it and himself down falling off the stage and splatting his head across cement.
Struck by lightning during the White House UFC fight would be a good laugh.
If not on camera then 🙏 toilet death 🙏 toilet death 🙏 toilet death 🙏
luv how male animals gotta fucking dance around and cry and shit for female attention and sex. and then men irl complain about fat women and body hair like get on ur fucking knees and beg me actually
like these tarantulas dude?? the male has to tap out a rhythm she likes and if she doesn’t?? she’ll literally eat him.
Alpha males: "This is nature. You don't see animals acting like queers don't you?"
90% of nature documentaries: "Until now the female has been very impressed by the males drag performance of Orwell's Homage To Catalonia, soundtracked exclusively by Maria Carey songs. A demanding performance like that knows to impress. But... Oh No... One note in the final tune was one cent flat. It doesn't look good for the male now. She is ordering an orbital laser strike to burn his beautifully groomed plumage from space. It will take all year to regrow, effectively ending this one's mating season early. Better luck next time, little guy. Women are a tough audience."
14th June 2021 marks 80 years since the June Deportation from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Baltic States have yet to receive acknowledgement for the horrors that happened here from ones that did this to us, let alone an apology.
It’s been 80 years, and there is still no justice for the ones that were violently ripped for their homes or killed.

i think one of the worst things the left wing internet ever did was push the idea that oppression is basically a virtue, and being oppressed is a sign of your morality. it has made it like…impossible for some of you to hold the idea that most people are privileged in some ways and oppressed in others. AND a lot of you seem to have it in your mind that terrible people cannot be oppressed, and that oppressed people cannot do terrible things, which is a dangerous rhetoric to hold imo.
I think the one thing that sets Alfred apart from others is that he's always been a dreamer, he always has hope in his heart, and he doesn't give up those dreams even when it's obvious they won't work out.
He leans more towards humanity than the rules of nationhood.
Humans are who he ran barefooted across golden plains with, who showed him how to trap and skin a rabbit, who taught him to read and write. It was human ideology that coaxed him into rebelling against an empire for the values of liberty and justice.
He watched in wonder at the integrity of humans and their willingness to go above and beyond, to reach for the impossible, to rebuild as many times as it takes, to get up despite the crash and burn of everything around them.
He saw them dream and make those dream come true. He saw them hope despite all odds against them.
He never saw humanity as inherently evil. That’s why it came as a surprise when winning didn’t mean everyone came together under a united flag. But he still admired them. Wanted to be like THEM.
And that’s his greatest weakness. The one thing the others look at him with pity for. When it actually matters most, Alfred does not think like the nation he is.
He thinks like a human he will never be.

In a universe where the personification of The Republic of Texas is still alive, they and Prussia would cause so much chaos together.
Alfred brings Texas with him to some meeting in late 90s. For whatever reason Texas is "grounded" and not allowed to be home alone.
It takes Prussia not even 10 seconds to see this tween with an ego just as big as his and who is actively causing Alfred the same stress he causes Ludwig to go "is this a little sibling?"
Prussia: And maybe some day you can come visit me in Berlin. How much German do you know?
Texas: Ich spreche Texasdeutsch.
Prussia:
(addendum because I just realized a critical fact about Texas-German relations)
Prussia: that's awesome! so who taught you German and introduced you to all our awesome German beers?
Texas: lol.
America: oh no.
Prussia: what?
America: I'm sorry this is happening to you and I'm sorry you're finding out this way.
Prussia: what????
Bavaria:
need more of this
