Kishimoto kinda did an almost great job at describing and detailing opression in that way class and enthic group (in naruto world meaning being a special clan ig) even up to the way sasuke was almost happy to play along if it meant having friends, and security despite konohas self made fetishism of him as a novetly, the sole uchiha survior. It really also highlights the different respones to finding out how evil, corrupt and bias your country and world is. Kakahsi got traumatized and used a tool by his country,state, peers plenty of times going from depression, bitter ruthless killings, he never had any hope for changing the world around him he just wanted people to stop dying, his advice as an old man?(26) "yeah shit is ass but if u keep ur head down u get peace and your loved ones". Sasukes trauma being fresh or maybe just being young and headstrong sees that as weak, passive, i mean he lost his family, he almost lost naruto and this was all before he even knew the state was in on it!!
