Thought about what I want to name this new celestial
Phantomyst.
The name can be interpereted both as "phantom mist" and as "phantom mystery".
When he was born, many nearby universes started seeing some strange fog full of unknown ghosts.
And random mysterious things would happen wherever the ghost fog showed up.
Sometimes those mysterious things would be mere hallucinations and sometimes they would be real. But nobody would know until the ghost fog moved out of range.
He can still bring up the ghost fog whenever he wants and he uses the ability for fun when he's bored.
Makes people-watching have more drama

I talked about how celestials get their name based on what happens when they're born.
Blightbreaker isn't in that post, but here I will say that when he was born, all the disease and plague stuff that was caused by Miasmire's birth was cured.
Broke the blight. or something.
(I knowwww blight refers to disease that Plants get rather than referring to disease that people get but it sounded very cool.
And Miasmire kind of has plant magic so technically the pandemic caused by Miasmire is still plant related, in a way, just didn't effect plants)

He would have used the goose emoji but that doesn't show up on my browser so he gets the swan instead.
Similar enough in shape I guess.
So! First off. His real nature isn't like what he has been doing for the april fools event.
He's more like. a kind of less chaotic version of Cloak. Like, he's willing to cause chaos and mischief, but he'll have more dignity about it.
And he's also extremely curious.
Like how Cloak likes to try out different things just to know how it is, but to the extremes.
And he likes finding out about things he has never seen before and learning how mortals live their regular lives.
Interested in pretty much anything.
Why he was behaving like that is because the night before april first, he and some of Cloak's friends were playing a game of truth or dare.
He was dared to act like a brat the next time he was around people. And Cloth doesn't take a game of truth or dare lightly.
So bratty behavior for him on this delightful april 1st :]

His version of "turning into shadows" is like a white ghost thing with red dots for eyes instead of Cloak's turning black with blank white half-circle(?) eyes.
Like Cloak Guy, Cloth Guy is one of those celestial creatures I have in my funny little multiverse.
Left (goose dragon) is the base form/first stage. Right (Big feather dragon with 7 tails) is the powered up form/2nd stage.
He isn't really technically a Drayton but Cloak is really his big brother and he wanted to mimic Cloak's human form so he did some shapeshifting.
He still counts as a Drayton to me even though he is a magic bird dragon just wearing a Drayton skin.
Well. Cloak Guy is also just a magic bird dragon wearing a Drayton skin. Just not from shapeshifting like his brother is doing. It's more complicated than that :) I mean hey who said that
Anyways. We have a goose now.
Side note, before I chose a name for him I was jokingly calling him untitled goose drayton.
It was an already chaotic day in the Drayton Clubhouse and he was a horrible goose.
In the previous post, I mentioned a celestial's humanoid form being a natural one as opposed to merging with a non-celestial.
All the celestials technically have their own natural humanoid form. It's the first thing they learn to shapeshift to usually.
They don't lose the ability to go to that form if they merge with a non-celestial either.
I haven't drawn any other than Miasmire's though (and started on Blightbreaker's but haven't finished)
(And just realized I haven't mentioned Blightbreaker on this blog oops. He is another celestial)

Keep in mind, Miasmire is Cloak Guy. Meaning Cloaky can turn into this:
Among the celestials who have merged with non-celestials, the main reason to not go to their natural humanoid form is simply because there's no reason to.
After all, they have one that they have likely grown more accustomed to,
due to the usual nature of how celestials merge with non-celestials.
Usually some crazy accident of the multiverse is what causes that. For example, the way Miasmire became a Drayton.
Miasmire was taking a nap, and in his sleep, his soul was kinda subconsciously wandering around.
He had been overworked recently. His soul wandering like that was basically from how weird the mind can get from extreme tiredness. But with celestial powers involved.
And in some universe where the resident Drayton was doomed to be born already dead, Miasmire somehow ended up there in that moment and taking over the body.
Miasmire has a different reason for not going to his natural humanoid form. (Apart from the fact that he Really likes how he looks as a Drayton)
Since he used to be evil in the distant past, his natural humanoid form just brings up bad memories for him.
So he stays a Drayton.

I have a new celestial :]
I haven't thought of a name for him yet (haven't. really tried. mind occupied with...... I don't even remember anymore what my mind was occupied with
Also I don't really know much about him either, he's only existed in my head for like. 16 hours)
Anyways. a creatchure
His main magic powers are time and illusions.
He's also pretty good at darkness magic.
There's some animal inspiration in his design. Fox and fossa specifically.
But he looks very weasel-like too.
Mischievous and evil fella.
Entered the main multiverse from some other multiverse intending to cause trouble using his time magic.
But a resident celestial with time powers (Soarswift) was able to sense a possible disruption to the flow of time immediately and went to stop him.
An attack from Soarswift sent him flying while the two celestials were in "time-traveleing-space(?)"
and he happened to collide with someone who was in the middle of time traveling.
Other than Aquaradia (who hasn't merged with any non-celestial and therefore her humanoid form is her natural one),
this is my first celestial to be someone who isn't a pokemon character.
Not saying who just yet though. Anyone's welcome to guess if they want to.
I have mentioned some of the things I'm into that aren't pokemon on my main blog before.
It's one of them.
Here's a hint for what it is: There is canon time travel.
In the au where this took place, everything that happened is canon,
until,
the time travel part, in which there is now a celestial involved.
Something funny I forgot to mention earlier when I made this post is that after Soarswift saw the collision and subsequent merging,
Soarswift simply said "Well this is no longer my problem" and left. Haphazardous behavior.
But Soarswift would remain keeping an extra close eye on any abnormalities in the flow of time just to be safe
This doesn't kill, and he can turn them back whenever.
But destroying the gemstone kills what was turned into the gemstone.
Though if the broken gemstone is repaired (example: the pieces of a crushed gemstone carefully put back together and the cracks magically sealed), that's basically being brought back to life.
The color of the gemstone is based on who/what was turned into the gemstone.
So they could end up becoming priceless one-of-a-kind treasures if Cloak happens to leave one somewhere and some rock enthusiast picks it up.
Cloak wouldn't do that on purpose though. It would greatly upset him if he lost someone/something he turned into a gemstone.
And he wouldn't let himself rest until the missing gem is found. (After that it's naptime)
Those turned into gemstones stay conscious and are immortal as long as the gemstone isn't destroyed.
All turned into gemstones can interact with each other within a mini-universe their consciousnesses exist in while gemstones.
They can hear outside the gemstone and to some extent, they can see outside of the gemstone.
So this would be a way to find a missing gemstone, just have a 2nd person turned into a gemstone ask the missing person to describe the location.
One imagination story I had where he used this ability is when he was in a hurry.
He had to portal around and locate some things under basically a time limit.
But some people followed him through a portal, and it wouldn't be safe for those people to follow him.
And there wasn't time to bring them back home, so the safest option was for him to turn those people into gemstones and wear them as a necklace until his mission was over
While looking through my au folders for charcters to put on artfight (since I just made an account today),
I was scrolling through my apocalypse au folder and re-discovered my video titled "the alien apocalypse spoilers without context"
And boy is it funny.
Apocalypse au is one of my two aus that have a fanfic, and my mind runs faster than my will to type.
So the video is for some part of the plot that's way into the future. Might not even get to it since writing motivation for the apocalypse au fanfic has been Nothing for the past uhh almost a year.
It's actually 20 days shy of a year since I have wrote for it. Neat.
Anyways.
Since the apocalypse au is written in a discord server and therefore inaccessible to anyone without a discord,
I had been debating on putting it all on tumblr. I don't want it specifically on ao3.
But I also still wanna wait till I get the two remaining side-chapters done.
Such a predicament.

Wait I haven't spoken of the au of my Drayton nicknamed Wizard here.
I really should sometime it's got some of the most in-depth lore of any of my aus.
I should figure out how I want to tag it though.... I generally call it the wizard au, but the world of the au itself is called Eldrimancica.
(Like a mix of eldritch, the suffix that can be used for magic users such as hydromancy or somethin, and lastly somethin that's like what a place name could end with)
So the people of that au could be called eldrimancicans.
There are different races there like elves and orcs and well. Mainly different kinds of elves (including but not limited to dark elf and high elf. The Drayton is a high elf).
and there are tieflings there too. They're pretty cool.
(debating on adding halflings, dwarves, and kobolds but I haven't decided for sure yet)
There aren't any humans in the au except on The Other Side (<- something that will need its own super long post)
Also the amount of creature diversity there is wild.
They got pokemon, digimon, regular animals, fusions of regular animals,
monster rancher monsters, fantasy creatures (such as unicorns), and even some bizarre creatures that originate from my own imagination.
While typing I decided I'm just gonna call it the wizard au in the tags.
There's plenty more to talk about. And by plenty I mean Yikes I'm Not Doing All That Right Now.

Fairy au has actual name changes so Drazy would be his actual name rather than a nickname the other Draytons call him.
He is a tiny menace like Voidray. Slightly evil too. Unlike Voidray however he is highly intelligent.
Despite his lack of shirt and shoes, he would enter into places with a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" sign anyway.
He is completely aware of the sign.
He's smart and all that, but he makes bad decisions because he thinks those are fun.
But if they refuse to serve him due to his lack of shirt and shoes as mentioned by the sign, he will commit misdeeds out of spite.
Here he is plotting with Voidray, or rather, attempting to teach Voidray how to plot for his own amusement.
A fruitless endeavor. Voidray is much too stupid. Points for trying though
Drazy isn't even cheese-obsessed. He's like. neutral about cheese.
But he figures the best way to tell Voidray anything would be to make it about cheese
Fairies in the au would have the power to grow in size
but they don't typically like being tall for long periods of time.
Plus it would be really tiring for the fairy to be big for too long. So normally they stay small.
Dragon-fairies like him would be able to stay big longer than other kinds of fairies without getting tired too quickly because dragon,
but he's also a Drayton.
He's not going to want to be big for long if it's at all exhausting

I like the way that fairies in the sims 4 eat emotions. So I'm going to adopt the idea into the fairy au.
But with the addition of being able to eat More than just emotions :)
Like what happened recently with Wizard. Drazy ate his sanity and it took a bit of time for it to grow back.
He could also transfer stuff to other people instead of getting energy from it if he wanted to.
Like for example he could eat someone's joy and give it to someone else if he chose to

Just some Leon stuff and some stuff I consider important to the lore.
This is one of those aus where the characters actually have different names rather than nicknames.
The Leon from the au is named Dandelion (very creative I know)
Pictures of Dandelion with and without a background. These are really old edits and he could perhaps do with a bit of a redesign some day
There are plenty different races of fairies in the au.
Their differences would be in element/what they have the powers of:
Dragon fairies which are very dragon-like.
Garden fairies which are like grass types. (The Leon is one of those I guess)
Storm fairies that live in the wind or in storms. Some are more flying-type themed, some are more electric-type themed.
Dark fairies, which are often things like imp sort of things or somethin.
Crystal fairies, which are all sparkly and made of crystals.
Heat fairies, self explanatory I hope. My pyrophobia makes me hesitant to talk about them, but they exist.
Water fairies, which would be aquatic fairies ranging from semi-aquatic to fully aquatic.
Mineral fairies, which are like rock, steel, ground types all at once.
Fauna fairies, which are very good with critters.
And there could be more probably but these are just the ones I have any thoughts about.
Anyways what did I want to make this post for.
To talk about how the fairy au Drayton (Drazy) met the other au Draytons, as it's a very funny story that for some reason, I'm pretty sure I never told anyone (other than my sister recently) even though it's been a thing in my head since before Drazy was put on the blog.
So, the fairy au versions of the other bb academy characters had been telling him he needs to go out and get some exercise sometimes.
They would tell him this everyday and often multiple times a day. Eventually, he gets tired of it.
He goes like "Yaknow what, fine! I'll do it once just stop nagging me!" and so he flies out of the hole in the tree
(the blueberry academy is in a hollow tree surrounded by blueberry bushes in this au)
and instantly an owl (Cloak Guy shapeshifted into a normal owl) swoops in and grabs him with his talons.
Cloak was randomly portaling around the multiverse to invite other Draytons to his clubhouse and went for him without hesitation.
But the other fairies think Drazy is dead.
Drazy has intentionally not gone back to his universe because he thinks that's funny and he's a little hater.
He technically hasn't seen that the other fairies think he's dead, but he knows that's definitely the case lol
This au is fun. I should actually think about it more, in terms of story. Because in terms of story that's all I've got

I know I said I don't feel suited for making major decisions for the merfolk au, but I imagine it to be on like a planet that's mostly water.
Ocean over the entire surface aside from a few small to medium islands (the only dry areas other than I guess the sky).
Usually the islands would be tropical or icy.
And there would be underwater settlements that stay in place where they are because they would have the resources to do that.
Not bound by earth-like limits.
There would be like a huge core at the center of the planet like the bottom of the ocean where a lot of the agriculture would be.
As for that agriculture, they would have the same plants we do but. water-ified? I don't know if that would be the right way to say it.
Basically.
Imagine if things like potatoes or bananas etc naturally grew underwater.
They have paper that is fine in water too. And bread that doesn't come apart by being wet.
Stuff's just naturally suited for water purposes there.
Because why wouldn't it be?
Anyways. The ancient merfolk would have used like. thermal vents on certain parts of the core for cooking.
But the modern merfolk would have found ways to capture the heat from those to make things that are like ovens.
(Science! Technological improvements! Such fun!)
People from land-based universes that are allied with them would do trading with them to get that super awesome naturally-waterproof tech they have.
Playing on a waterproof computer in a pool would be a blast to someone who lives on land. (at least I think it sounds like fun) "How novel!" or somethin.
But water computers would just be normal to the merpeople.
And I'm sure there would be something the people in land-based universes have that would be equally sought after by the merfolk I just can't think of what.
Ramble over now, I just had some Thoughts I'm finally letting out that had been stewing for about two years
I had a dream/nightmare reveal the answer to a question that I never had in the first place.
Under what circumstance could Cloak Guy go from using healing magic on someone to going right to killing them?
This silly goober who has sworn off killing unless absolutely necessary.
So this dream/nightmare was onto something interesting actually.
There was some girl he was friends with(?) I think. More likely just an acquaintance he just met, based on vague clues I semi-recall before the dream went to a spooky turn.
I don't remember much at all before the turn for terror.
The dream made her up idk who she was. But she wanted to die for some reason.
Soooo she cursed herself to become a monster.
Cloaky went to visit her but she started turning into a solid gray gooey(?) faceless figure full of violence.
Cloak was on the way up the stairs to her room when this began happening and the monster started going toward him.
I was like. seeing through Cloak's pov for this dream and his eyes did the color changing thing.
It was neat to have his pov for that.
Okay so first they were red and gave the sense that this monster was minutes away from death with like. the timer popping up into vision.
Then Cloaky used healing magic immediately which turned the girl back to normal for a few seconds but it didn't last.
Back to monster rapidly approaching him.
Anyways, Cloak is now running down the stairs. A move only done because I'm accidentally influencing the sense of self preservation here. Since I'm seeing through his pov in the dream.
Otherwise? I don't think he would really care to run. He's strange like that. He would watch and see if he's actually a target and maybe teleport if he's hit depending on the situation.
Anyways that monster creates a copy out of goo that tries to prevent Cloak's rapid jump down the stairs.
And Cloak used levitation magic in reverse to drop a super heavy kick on this thing to get past it.
Kinda exploded into goo.
The monster who was a person before kept chasing him though.
They got outside and Cloak looked back, but then Cloak's eyes went to the mix of red and green and it was revealed that she did not want to come back to life.
And that's partially why the healing magic didn't work.
I have said before the red and green mix is when he's trying to find a solution to prevent someone's death, but "no" counts as an answer that these eyes can pick up.
(Cloak may get attached to his friends but he still respects those wishes if someone don't wanna get out of the world of the dead)
But this monster was a danger and couldn't be reasoned with anyways so Cloak did somethin cool with his sleeves.
I keep wanting to animate that thing he can do with his sleeves. That would have happened in a part of an animation I started a while back and never finished.
Looks cool as flip. Like. feather become claw hand. Maybe one day.
He uses this thing with his sleeves to slash the monster thing which turns it to a dead puddle in one hit.
And I woke up after that but I kept thinking about it. Like. would he have done that in this type of situation? Or was it a case of dreams being ooc?
So I pondered that for a bit and came to the answer. Yes he would. There wouldn't have been a way to save that person then.
But he could portal into the world of the dead later and have a normal conversation there, free of uncontrollable-monster issues.
He would still respect the person's wish if they wanted to stay among the dead,
though he would be saddened anyways and ask if anything can be done to improve the situation of living before going on his way.
Past his mischief and how he intentionally tries to keep his reputation as bad as possible in the public eye, this bird is very sweet around those who really know him.
Or around whoever he randomly chooses. Erratic goofball.
Side note there was like high pitched screams of bloody murder as background noise throughout this Entire dream.
My humor is too broken for this I think. That was more than a lil terrifying during the dream
but in hindsight it's absurd enough to be funny to me. Only for being a dream though.
I think if there was constant bloody murder screams irl it would mess me up a bit. But I can laugh at dreams
So.
We know Cloak Guy has normal Drayton eye colors usually
But he can do other colors
Like when he blinked between red and green while trying to bother Larry in some animation I did
Anyways.
He can of course swap between the eye colors by simply shapeshifting slightly, but the different eye colors he can do can automatically come up for different purposes.
There's that red and green, but he can do a mix of red and green
(Like in this)
and most recently,
purple.
In some semi-recent imagination movies, I saw his eyes occasionally become purple.
I kept attempting to reject that because I didn't want to feel the need to update his vrchat avatar.
(Yep that's the reason)
But he kept doing it and it kept looking cool so I finally caved and updated his vrchat avatar first thing to get that outta the way.
Went to vrchat for pictures today actually :3
And I'm adding closeup pictures taken in blender because I realize the lighting where I was taking pictures isn't all that great for this.
So the purposes. Starting with red
His eyes turn red if he senses imminent death. He can even tell the cause when his eyes are red.
He will see like words and stats in his vision and even a timer of how long until the death.
Next. The mix of red and green
This is when he's scanning for a way to prevent a death from happening.
It's so neato. From his point of view, if there's something in the area that is the solution, it will glow green to him. And if something would accelerate the death, that something would glow red to him.
He can also more easily think of solutions that aren't in the area while his eyes are like this.
And green.
If he prevents a death he sensed before, his eyes will change green. They will also glow green if he uses another magic to check someone's health and it's all good.
Finally, purple.
This one's honestly somewhat of a mystery to me but it seems to come up if he senses something he's Not Supposed To Know.
As in, if some creature more powerful than he is is trying to keep something hidden from him, he can sometimes sense it.
Also can come up if he senses an unexpected being nearby. By unexpected being, that doesn't necessarily mean someone trying to pull a prank on him, though it can be.
More things like. a powerful enemy. or perhaps something that's like a ghost but not really a ghost.
The purple eyes also can reveal solutions of ultra-bizarre problems to him.
Yeah. The purple eyes are a strange situation.
None of the eye sense thingies are guaranteed to activate but the purple is without a doubt the least likely to activate despite how many functions it can serve when it does.
Needless to say he doesn't like it when his eyes fail to turn red and someone he's close to dies without him knowing to prevent it.
(He can just slip into the world of the dead and bring them back to life but that's such a hassle)
Anyhoo, as I said before he can change his eye colors freely with shapeshifting even if he doesn't sense something.
If he's fighting some enemy he has deemed necessary to kill, and if the enemy is without a doubt killable, his eyes will automatically turn red for the death sense.
But if he's fighting something he has deemed necessary to kill and his eyes don't automatically turn red,
and if this enemy knows about his ability,
he can shapeshift his eyes red in an attempt to throw the enemy off. Then the enemy may think there's no chance of winning. And if the enemy gives up, the odds will be in Cloak's favor.
He often likes to shapeshift his eyes green because those around him are used to green eyes from him meaning good things.

Like when he's pulling nonsense this (green can look intimidating to those who don't know what it's for)
This is sooooo old though XD the eyes aren't even completely green like how I have them in modern depictions of his eye color changing.
Can tell it's old from the lack of scars on one eye too :] he looks so different without that
He can make his eyes blank too
(mainly when he puts darkness on himself like in these next images but he can do it anytime)
but there's no meaning behind it, he just thinks it's fun.
If he tries to make his eyes blank while his eyes are purple, they will be black instead of white because the whites of his eyes become black when they're purple and that's really cool :3
The fear-causing potential with that is legendary
I could probably copy-paste my entire (currently unfinished) apocalypse au fanfic here since right now it's exclusive to a discord server and I have no desire to put it on ao3 or quotev.
I even have a text file of the entire thing that I had already copy-pasted from discord a long time ago that I already cleaned up.
All that's waiting is motivation.
And possibly.
I would like to have at least the two remaining side-chapters and one chapter of arc 2 finished before I put it here though.
If someone really wants me to, I could probably work on posting what I have here before I finish those mentioned chapters.
But I ended the first arc on a seriously serious insane totally bonkers cliffhanger with a Huge disregard for how long it takes me to feel like writing anything.
And I guess I would just prefer not to inflict a spirit of unease on people without warning.
Also.
If interest in the apocalypse au is from Bat, he doesn't appear (as we know him) yet.
I think based on my notes he doesn't appear until arc 4 which is. a long way away

What's your HC on Urbain/Taunie? Do you think they're alternate universe counterparts of each other, fraternal twins, or as many have said in memes, the same person just presenting as feminine or masculine?
That's a fun one :D I choose different things for different aus. Some aus lack Urbain and have only Taunie, some have the other way around,
and some have em both as siblings.
(Same goes for Paxton and Harmony on that note. Legends za opened up some crazy doors for the paracosm)
I like having wild multiverse diversity.
I have yet to decide which au that last one could fit in because my mind's been preoccupied with so much other au stuff
but I been wanting to figure out one I could do that for because it's such an interesting one.
And here's another concept I thought of.
If I ever end up making an au where everyone is dragons, like I been randomly thinking about doing for the past couple years and just not getting around to it, I would make them a two-headed dragon

Due to the nature of everything involved, that au feels like a shared au with the cool person who likes to draw so much for it.
And so I don't really know what to do in terms of writing lore for the au myself. Especially with no communication going on.
Would be pretty cool though to coordinate things if possible.
