Fallon And Kimmel Ignore Northamβs βBlackfaceβ; Then Two MAJOR Skeletons Come Out Of Their Closets
Late night hosts Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel attack President Donald Trump almost every single night on their respective shows.
But they have been noticeably silent on disgraced Virginia Democratic Governor Ralph Northam β and thatβs because they have major skeletons in their own closets.
A picture in Northamβs 1984 medical school yearbook resurfaced last week, which shows one person dressed in βblackfaceβ and another wearing a Ku Klux Klan outfit.
Northam has changed his story a few times, but now claims that he doesnβt believe heβs either person pictured in βblackfaceβ or in the KKK outfit, but did admit he once βdarkenedβ his face when he dressed up as singer Michael Jackson.
Curiously, Fallon and Kimmel have been very silent on this issue, which is odd given they have attacked Trump for almost everything he does and says.
As it turns out, Fallon and Kimmel have the same dirty skeleton in their own closet. In previous comedy skits, both Fallon and Kimmel have worn blackface.
Kimmel has done it several times for comedy skits he used to do before having a show on ABC.
On his old Comedy Central series, βThe Man Show,β Kimmel once dressed up as NBA Hall of Famer Karl Malone by darkening his entire body to appear as an African-American.
Fallon is in the same boat.
During an appearance several years ago on βSaturday Night Live,β Fallon darkened his face and hands to impersonate comedian Chris Rock in a skit.
In the picture below of the skit, Fallon completely revamped his entire look to appear as an African-American.
Perhaps that is why Fallon and Kimmel have been so quiet about Northam and havenβt been endlessly trashing him.
It would certainly be hypocritical of the late night comedians to attack Northam for doing exactly what they did many years ago.
But more importantly, the scandal involving Northam is very serious and could result in him resigning from office.
There also arenβt clear answers about Northam and the yearbook.
When news broke last Friday, Northam apologized and appeared to suggest that it was possible he was the person pictured in βblackfaceβ or a Ku Klux Klan robe.
The Virginia Governor then said he wanted forensics to scan the photographs and compare them to his facial structure to determine if he was either person.
Northam changed his story again and now says that he doesnβt believe heβs either person in the yearbook, but did darken his face once when he dressed up as singer Michael Jackson.
Itβs unclear if Northam survives the political backlash, but itβs more than clear to many that Fallon and Kimmel are complete hypocrites.
Why arenβt they being forced to issue apologies for appearing in blackface?
