the whole reaching out when you’re sad is the worst thing ever, it never ever is what you need and you just feel even emptier…I’ve been struggling for the last few weeks and I don’t know how to come out of it

Why is it that when girls get into relationships they are willing to throw their friendships out the window for the boy that just entered their lives? Guys don’t do that, sure they are definitely more low-maintenance but they are still the same people with their friends. I went from having a friend that was part of my week in some capacity to only hearing for her when i reach out. It is totally fine if it was just that, but she blantly lies about the smallest things and the worst part is that I didn’t even ask anything to get lied to?! It is so weird, and it’s the smallest stupidest lies about things that I wouldn’t even care about. Now I feel like there is always going to be a part of me that thinks you’re lying everytime, even if its the smallest thing. I don’t have much solid friends in my life and to know that the pureness of one of my only solid friends is gone sucks. I wish men didn’t play such a huge role in womens’ lives like that, 10 years of friendship tainted over a man that just came in a year and a bit ago
