They're saying she's lying about being argentinian, mocking her for having an argie accent, and telling her she doesn't "look" black enough for them. My question is, why does she need to justify her identity or prove her race to anyone? Do these people actually care about racism?
This is the shit that will actually get you beat the fuck up if you come to our country. We didn't have segregation over here, it may be normal behavior for y'all to dissect someone's identity and ask them what percentage of black they are, but for us that is the most outrageously racist shit you could say to someone.
Black argentinians exist and they deserve to be heard. They don't owe shit to anyone, much less gringos who have the audacity to speak for them and are obsessed with proving that they don't exist. Y'all are so fucking weird.
Do you know another reason why this is infuriating? If she was USAmerican, nobody would dare question that she's black. Gringxs, especially yanquis, want to impose their racial categories and the way they read and interpret someone's racial background UNTIL it comes to a black Argentinean woman.
the same happened with efra wilches on tiktok. he's been uploading videos explaining how he doesn't feel discriminated here and has a nice life and people keep saying that he's lying and being paid to talk nicely about argentina. they also asked him to record himself walking down the street to see how he's "discriminated" (weird fucking request if you ask me). people ask for black argentinians to speak up and when they do they shut them up just cause they don't say what gringos want to hear. (here's a video he did replying to samuel l jackson's accusation)
another example is zoe gerbaudo who is a black argentinian living in the usa who said she found out argentina is considered a racist country while in the usa cause that was never her experience while living in arg and that americans told her she "wasn't black enough to talk about racism" (video).
me da muchísima bronca que la gente, especialmente de eeuu y europa, se haya tragado tanto la propaganda anti-argentina que ahora incluso atacan a gente por la simple razón de decir "soy de argentina". es increíble el odio que le tiran a un país que no está haciendo nada para merecerlo (no estamos en guerra con nadie, no tenemos colonias, no tiramos bombas, no explotamos gente ni recursos de otros países, etc). gente de mierda hay en todos lados y eso no justifica la xenofobia y racismo que venimos recibiendo a nivel país hace semanas. banco el odio al presidente y sus políticas de mierda, pero las cosas que se vienen diciendo son de no creer.
por ejemplo, a las mujeres que cagaron a palos por tener la camiseta de argentina en méxico (que encima eran mexicanas y simplemente apoyando un equipo de fútbol) o al pibe que golpearon entre como 10 personas en españa, o a la mujer que fue a tomarse un avión de delta con la camiseta puesta y un empleado la maltrató y le dijo que la próxima había que poner más guita, o el que twitteó "me pone feliz que los niños de argentina se van a dormir con hambre" y tuvo como 20k likes... y así hay un millón de ejemplos
