Mel wasn’t paranoid. Not at all. She preferred the term cautious. She’d carried her drink from the bar with a hand over it, though. Just in case. She found the other human and made a motion with her head. “Ten bucks says that vampire makes a move on us by the end of the day.” || @avdacious

Bunny couldn’t help herself; she loved where this thing with Laia was heading. There was definite fire between the two of them, that was undeniable, and to have prevented herself from pursuing it would have been a grave injustice. The happiest moment of her life had been the moment in which she realized that Laia was staying in her house with her. Laia was her soulmate. Bunny was ready. Bunny was making breakfast for the two of them -- eggs benedict -- and when she saw Laia, she broke out into a grin. “Morning. I figured we could get up our energy and check out some of the events on the beach. May as well, right? It’s like Frye Festival, but real.” || @impcviid

Bunny, in all of her infinite abilities, was spending her time working on a sand castle. Maybe it was juvenile of her, but hey... what better way to enjoy paradise than by approaching it with a childlike wonder? Activities abounded around her, but Bunny’s main concern was the tide that was sweeping in. “I need, like... a ward around this or something,” she commented, nearly finished with the top of the castle. “Protect it until I’m done.” || @elysiicn

Mel didn’t know what she should have expected out of this whole soulmate thing, but the fact of the matter was... it wasn’t the lightning bolt she’d expected. Of course, that wasn’t to say that she wasn’t attracted to Charlotte. In fact, if nothing else, she felt extremely bonded to the woman, sexually. And maybe that was the best of any world. And maybe that was why Mel had her fingers wrapped around the fairy’s, tugging her down to the beach, quickly. “We’re going water skiing,” she said, leaving no room for argument. “And it’s going to be a blast.” || @impcviid

It wasn’t that Melisandre wanted to stay at home for the entire event. It was just that... well, there were so many supernaturals hanging around, and she couldn’t be sure that all of them knew how to control themselves. He’d assumed his witch would have been his soulmate, which had been the only reason he’d come, but... now, it was time to bite the proverbial bullet. He found Clarissa at the event and he approached, albeit carefully. He’d already staked out the place in feline form, but now it was time to just... introduce himself.
