My daughter Iman, who was injured during the war, is now in urgent need of surgery outside Gaza, after everything here was destroyed and there are no longer any medical capabilities able to save her future or treat her condition.

Doctors have confirmed that this surgery can no longer be postponed. Not having it means there is a real risk that Iman could lose her ability to walk and may become permanently disabled. The thought that a child her age could be deprived of walking and playing simply because the war took away access to treatment is unbearable.
