Yesterday one woman and her son came to pick up a kitten. The kittens all still have fleas but a couple of people are willing to get rid of the fleas themselves.
They took Scar, the kitten I originally wanted to keep for myself. They seemed like good people. They could probably do more for him than I can at this point.
Tomorrow a man is coming to pick up a kitten. He seems nice, too. He has turtles and he’s worked at Petland for 3 years, so I figure he’ll take good care of whichever kitten he picks.
He is also taking the kitten with fleas. Its a lot less stress for me. Fleas are tough. One moment they’re gone, the next they’re back again.
Yesterday, I spotted about 5 or 6 fleas, all huddled up in one spot on Grey’s neck. This is after I bathed them in my special soapy water and vinegar bath, a week ago. They were having some form of a bloodfeast. I couldn’t catch all of them because they ran to safety as soon as they realized they had been spotted.
Anyway, I have a third lady adopting a kitten. She just wants the kitten with all its shots and operated, which is fine, but I have to find money for this now. That’s about 20 for a carrier and 5 for the shots and operation. Where am I going to get money?
Lastly, we have one mystery kitten left, our mommy, Skylar, and our 6-month old, Debbie.
