       ❝     aw  ,  ya  the  best  !  hopefully  it’s  worth  all  the  wait  .     ❞      a  break  is  on  the  top  of  lena’s  self - care  list  that  rarely  ever  was  looked  at  for  too  long  ,  she’s  always  on  the  go  after  all  ,  taking  on  too  much  even  for  her  yet  never  admitting  it  .  what  ?  she’s  stubborn  !  they  all  are  deep  down  !  

there’s  no  stifling  the  short  laugh  that  rumbles  all  the  way  from  her  stomach  ,  something  between  pride  /  awe  still  on  her  face  .  it’s  people  like  emily  that  save  the  world  in  ways  that  they  can’t  ,  she’s  lucky  to  have  known  her  so  long  .      ❝     betcha  woulda  said  that  about  any  of  them  .  they’re  usually  always  nice  !     ❞      well  …  a  pretty  and  kind  lady  offering  to  help  out  would  make  anyone  nice  —–

        ❝  always  is,  love!  can’t  watch  all  these  dramas  unfold  without  you.  i’d  perish  at  the  thought.  ❞  though  she  spoke  true,  playful  tones  were  laced  within  her  words.  she,  of  course,  wouldn’t  quite  perish  --  though  the  dramatic  edge  was  always  fun  to  play  every  now  and  again.  that,  and  it  did  help  to  keep  things  light,  even  during  serious  conversation.

it’s nice to know the woman has CONFIDENCE in her, an assurance she never really knew she needed. ❝ outside is fine, there isn’t really a space BIG enough for a proper demonstration,, ❞ she considered with a thoughtful tilt of her head. ❝ do you think the kids will like it? ❞ never mind the fact some were her age, that was irrelevant.

      ❝     i  bet  i  missed  all  the  good  tv  while  i  was  away  ,  oh  ,  an’  luv  ,   you  gotta  lil’  oil  on  your  neck  ——-     ❞      lena  motions  to  the  spot  that’s  smudged  ,  soft  smile  curled  on  her  mouth  fondly  -  if  there’s  oil  then  it  means  a  few  omnics  got  seen  to  today  .  there’s  no  denying  the  sense  of  pride  she  has  for  emily’s  passion  ,  especially  with  riots  breaking  out  near  king’s  row  far  too  often  these  days  .     /  @amongheroes !

        ❝  a  fair  amount,  if  i’m  being  honest  with  you.  nothing  you  can’t  catch  up  on,  though!  I  even  recorded  your  favourites...  and  I  didn’t  watch  them,  either.  figured  it’d  be  a  good  welcome  home  present,  y’know?  ❞  eyes  widened  slightly  at  the  remark.  a  quick  swipe  of  the  area  with  her  finger  confirmed  the  brunette’s  statement.  call  it  going  against  her  better  judgement,  but  the  woman  didn’t  exactly  want  to  get  up;  a  quick  wipe  with  the  sleeve  of  her  jumper  did  the  trick  just  as  well.
