I have noticed that if you look carefully at people’s eyes the first five seconds they look at you, the truth of their feelings will shine through for just an instant before it flickers away.

One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it’s guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go.

I’d found a way to survive in the darkness that you left behind, but then I saw you one day, we talked and I made you laugh. That laugh has to be the most beautiful, dazzling thing I’ve ever seen, it set fire to my world once again and made me wonder just how I managed to survive without it.
