* this still gives me chills. i remember when this first happened & mtv2 had news alerts with Kurt Loder. he talked about how Conor had upset clear channel, how he had been asked prior not to sing the verse about ABC, NBC, & CBS, & how, during the song, an executive from CBS came out and spit at his feet. i believe they said the other man bowing at his feet was an audience member. i love how conor brought the entire saddle creek gang & i love how brazen he is. how he breaks every rule and for this one moment is “punk rock.”
