Harpy, in Greco-Roman classical mythology, a creature, probably a wind spirit. The presence of harpies as tomb figures, however, makes it possible that they were also conceived of as ghosts. In Homer’s Odyssey they were winds that carried people away. Elsewhere, they were sometimes connected with the powers of the underworld.

This project took almost two-three years to come to completion and I’m so grateful. Chaos, disorder, divine retribution and ferocity, all in one is what this figurine represents, to me.

I did not expect the Harpy to become a part of me when I first designed her. My life has been highlighted by a great deal of chaos and disorder.

The Harpy became my divine retribution. She taught me to embrace the natural ferocity and energy I had been repressing for so long.

I hope you can cherish this rebellion like I do.
