gir, casually holding jethro’s hand back with a goofy smile on his face. if there were awards for hand holding they would both be winning nobel prizes right now. it’s a beautiful sight to behold.

“ If you’re gonna hang around GIR, I want to speak with his engineer. AAAAAND I’ve gotta tell you about all the confusing things that’ll happen with your processors. FUH—IRST BASE! ”

“ Sharing a juice box. ”

“We’re more than pals? Are we-- are we best friends?” He’d never had one of those before! And GIR sure was GREAT. He was LOUD and FUNNY and then he did that thing where his EYES went all red anytime something tried to ATTACK them.

It was so neat!

The robot’s eyes gleamed at the mention of sharing a juice box.

【𝐁𝐌】— Boxman was anything but blind. He’d seen those two sneaking around, daaaring to hold haaaands, it was disgustingly close to FRIENDSHIP! But perhaps that was because he’d never taught them of anything other than friends and foes.

“ One of the most important talks of your life, son ; The Nuts and the Bolts. ”

He sat himself down, eager to hear this story. Boxman hadn’t ever told him a story before-- not til he found all the Jethro at their liberation camp. The tiny robot was genuinely pleased with how hard he’d worked to save as many of his brothers as he could.

He had absolutely no idea what his father was going on about, but was more than willing to listen.
