Nature does not always choose the setting we expect.

Balance can look almost casual when you have six legs. Each #Dragonfly found a narrow perch, from reeds to a dry leaf, and held on as if that tiny landing place were enough.

That small act of balance was the reason to photograph them.

"A mesh of wing veins caught the light before the rest of the dragonfly did."

No one works this shoreline entirely alone.

Some stories never cross paths. They simply share the same afternoon.

A tree can make its own glasswork.

At #ArielSharonPark in #TelAviv resin had hardened into clear coils, amber beads and one long twisted thread hanging from the bark.

"I kept looking because the strand refused to behave like a simple drop."

#ToHa2 already commands the #TelAviv skyline, even with a crane above its exposed upper floors. That tension between arrival and unfinished work is what kept drawing my camera back to it.

"Tel Aviv complicates the future at street level."

At #TelAviv, the shoreline is less an ending than a negotiation.

Cities keep building upward, but the air still belongs to whoever can cross it freely.

The #DeadSea is disappearing slowly, almost quietly.

Year after year, the shoreline retreats, leaving salt, rock and sink holes where water once reached.

The red eye never leaves the water. A black-crowned night #Heron waits in cover, steps onto the bank, and finally sweeps low across the surface.

These towers seem to disagree about how a skyline should look. One absorbs the light in dark glass, while the other repeats it in white curves, and together they give #RamatGan a sharper edge than either could alone.

A summer storm crossed the Netherlands, but over #Amsterdam it seemed to pause and write across the sky.

Not every city bicycle is going anywhere.

Doors and windows often outlive the look built around them.

Modern #Architecture often tries to look untouched by the street.

#Larnaca is full of contrasts. One moment an orange supercar steals the scene, the next you are walking past old houses, blue shutters and tangled wires.
