Psst somewhat controversial take but I've come to the realization that haven is lack Lustre to me because it feels too much like astoria in the "we want to do ever after again but bigger" department and that the reason phantoms was so good is because they were trying something completely different

Also I do not know a single word of any of the songs that weren't prerelease singles from haven and that's kinda a bad thing when your whole thing as a band is making an album that has to be listened to front to back and is impossible to shuffle

I have a potentially hot take for casselman nation;

Ever After was the best era trench had fandom wise and there will never be anything like it again. The hype around the desperate measures and by now video releases ALONE will never be recreated. It was such an insane era and we're never going to get it again. I got to witness them play truth or dare for the first time in sound check at the first ever date for the face the music tour when I was 14 and it is still the best song they've ever done live.

Force of nature tour setlist fucking sucks and im tired of pretending it's not an absolute dissapointment

Also the way the band/their management are handling the resale tickets being hundreds of dollars is so fucking dissapointing and i don't WANT to admit im dissapointed in my favourite band but like,, I very much am and it SUCKS but you can like something while using critical thinking skills lmao
