Memories were few and far between in his current state that felt like a mix between dreaming and being awake -- How long had he been here? The place felt at once nostalgic and yet completely foreign to him, and he knew not if the people here were someone he knew or if they were strangers.
A single person however emitted a radiance of familiarity. A woman with beautiful wings sent a rush of nostalgia through his body, and before he even knew it, he found himself next to the being. A memory of long nights spent in solitude. Of a picture book depicting a winged being, an ‘angel’. Of hoping such a being would perhaps descend before him and grant him his wishes. What did he wish for? He no longer knew. Reaching out a hand he grasped at the feathers.

‘Sorry about that, didn’t see you there’
A tone of warmth enveloped around his breath, rolling off of his tongue in apologies to the young boy that he had bumped into. After quite enjoyably having succeeded in a panty raid while a few of the girls of the inn were at the bath, Pratt was making his dashing escape to hide out for some time. The undies hidden inside of the worn rucksack on his shoulder, one poking out at the edge from the crash with the kid.
‘Hey, what’s a kid like you doing here anyway?’
Mind a haze, it felt as though every new moment was the beginning of his adventures. He knew not who he was; he knew not where or why, and he did not realise that the gesture of two people colliding was considered an inconvenience to both parts. This was the first tidbit of knowledge he managed to aquire. How peculiar a feeling -- not knowing his own name or even the fact that he was supposed to have one, but still knowing this useless bit of etiquette. The very first term of self-awareness he received was when this man addressed him. ‘Kid’. Was he a ‘kid’?
Then a new term his mind recognised as ‘noise’ filled his ears -- high pitched screeching of females who had lost something priceless. ‘Annoying’ was not the world he would use to describe it. It was merely a strain on the ears. Tilting his head in confusion the boy pointed upwards to the source of the ruckus, and then proceeded to stick both index fingers into his ears. Ah. How nice and silent.

It’s the hardships of having too much creativity and still trying to limit oneself because you don’t want to be stuck to a limited amount of personality/background ughhh at least you did the smart move I can see lol
