I decided to take up quilting to make a bunch of stuff for people for Christmas. I'm making a set of pillows and a twin sized quilt. Not pictured is the materials to make a set of quilted bags and pouches and quilted city play mat for the kids.

It's not like I don't already sew garments, crochet garments and accessories, make soap, and make soup/ cookie jars.

This set is a very pleasing colour pallet though.

I got a tiny Bratz sewing machine. It does chain stitches. It's got a damaged part so it's not super consistent. Once I figure out how to fix or replace the damaged part I plan to take it to con with me for repairs and the such.

I keep watching House of the Dragon, even though I think it's a weirdly written, poorly paced, shadow of Fire and Blood and I am in the minority for when it comes to the characters I like and dislike.

This episode, Season 3, episode 7, in particular really bothered me. Everything about Alice and Armond's "sex" scene was so uncomfortable and off putting. I usually root for the girls loving girls in shows but I really struggle with Rhaenyra and Misaria. Lady Jane and her girl toy were way more compelling, that could just be because there was no time for it to get weird. Also, they committed to Aemond having sex with his mom, who turns into Alice, but they gotta cut away from Rhaenyra and Misaria? It's a choice I guess.

I do love the dragons. They bring me joy and are wonderful. I wish they were more colorful, like they are described in the book. I hate watching the dragons fight and when ever one of them dies I want to cry. I know they all die but I love them.

Aegon's speech was so good. Sunfyer is the best boy and even clearly injured, he is beautiful.
