For all that I love the headcanon that Peridot is this like, virginal innocent thing when she arrives on earth, I also adore the headcanon that she’s super into quartzes and always has been. 

And those aren’t mutually exclusive, but…please imagine Peridot being a big’ol slut on Homeworld. 

Like…..do all peridots have a thing for quartzes or is it just our Peridot. And is she known for this. Were quartzes writing “for a good time call peridot facet-2F5L cut-5XG” on a wall somewhere. Is Peridot’s fondness for quartzes considered a weird fetish among other peridots. Did they gossip behind her back. Did they find out she was going on an Earth mission with a huge jasper and giggle to each other, or tease Peridot to her face about how she clearly wasn’t going to get much work done on that mission. Did Peridot herself futz with the paperwork specifically so Jasper would be assigned with her.
