My Studyblr

7 August 2019. Orientation is officially over and classes start tomorrow! It’s a heavy load forsure, but one I really look forward to. Already beginning to study for my Top 200 drug quiz— I’m really looking forward to beginning this new chapter in my life.

Hi! I’ll do the best I can, for I am also unaware of how other countries do it and how their degrees work! But here in America, in order to become a licensed pharmacist you need your PharmD which is a doctorate degree. So, the school/program I am in now is a graduate school program (higher level education). A lot of graduate programs require some sort of degree or prerequisites to enter. In my case, I was required to do two years of pre-pharmacy courses in my undergrad. I added a third year for a psychology degree because I enjoy it (lol) but also because I may choose to specialize in psychiatric pharmacy. I hope this helped a bit! (All in all I will have been in school for 7 years for my doctorate)

5 August 2019. It’s been a minute but I’m back! I graduated with my psychology degree and officially started my first year of pharmacy school today. Lots has happened since I last posted, but I’ll spare you the details. Just know I’m back with •brilliant plans•

31 March 2019. Honestly been hard to get myself to do anything lately. I love school and doing homework but I’ve just been having a rough time. Whenever I have my lows they’re usually much shorter than this, but I feel like I can’t get out of this one..

24 March 2019. Oh boy it’s been hard getting back into the swing of things after spring break. In other news, I’ve become slightly addicted to the iced matcha green tea latte at Starbucks. It’s what I bribe myself with to get my school work done!

I’m starting to gain more followers (thank you!) and was wondering if anyone would be interested in me sharing some tips and tricks I’ve learned when it comes to school??? You could send me questions or I could just make a little list I find helpful, idk! Just let me know (-:

4 March 2019. Organic lab today wasn’t too bad, we just reduced benzil to hydrobenzoin and ran tests to see which stereoisomer we got.. fun stuff! Still dreading my midterms coming later this week but after all is done I will officially be half-way through my final semester as an undergrad!

27 February 2019. I am so beyond stressed. The amount of things I have to do before spring break is crazy and I honestly don’t have a clue how I’ll manage. Trying to stay positive and just do my best, send good vibes my way please and thanks

22 February 2019. First organic chemistry lab exam is Wednesday and I feel so unprepared. This weekend is definitely a catch up weekend

19 February 2019. I have my first clinical psychology exam tomorrow and my brain is overloaded with information

Also a little fun fact about me: I like starting out the semester with a new black pen and using it until it runs out, it makes me feel accomplished. This is the quickest it’s run out, I’m only a month in and about to need a new pen!

15 February 2019. I love study/lunch dates, especially on snowy days. Fridays are my favorite because I treat myself to yummy food and study time with my favorite coffee

12 February 2019. Just got back from Urgent Care and just can’t get myself to be productive. Hopefully I’ll start feeling better so I can get back to my studies! But I think my campus is beautiful and wanted to share some pictures.

10 February 2019. Woke up not feeling the greatest, so doing all homework in bed today. Finishing up my dreaded organic lab write up so I can spend the rest of my Sunday studying for my first genetics exam tomorrow! Wish me luck!
