Seems like ages since school ended and I never uploaded the final project. Well, here it is. These photos show all the work produced by everyone. I circled mine in red. I loved that class and teacher. I think I learned alot.

Such great weather this weekend! I did a few pencil sketches of nooks and crannies in my neighborhood and I had fun sketching with a new (for me) artists group called In Art Pursuit.

If you notice a gap in the dates, it’s because I switched to taking written notes for awhile. I wasn’t sure how much I was retaining by drawing, but after trying both, I think I actually get more out of drawing my notes.

In Painting class our homework was to stand in front of a painting for 20 minutes once a week and describe what you see and draw it. The AI doesn’t allow you use a pen, but I disobeyed the rules. Nobody said a word. Of course, I had my badge on, maybe that’s why. Here are a few of the ones I did.

This project was about creating two worlds in one painting using a mirror. My painting is the bottle and brush. Here are the results:
