Sableye (Ultra Moon): Materials from gems it has eaten float to the surface of its body and can form an infinite number of patterns among individuals.

Steelix (Diamond): Tempered underground under high pressure and heat, its body is harder than any metal.

Pyroar (Violet): The mane of a male Pyroar heats up to over 3,600 degrees Fahrenheit during battle. Merely approaching it will cause severe burns.

Aegislash (Shield): Its potent spectral powers allow it to manipulate others. It once used its powers to force people and Pokémon to build a kingdom to its liking.

Smeargle (Moon): It draws symbols all over the place to mark its territory. In towns with many Smeargle, the walls are covered in graffiti.

Corsola (Silver): In a south sea nation, the people live in communities that are built on groups of these Pokémon. / Corsola (Shield): Sudden climate change wiped out this ancient kind of Corsola. This Pokémon absorbs others' life-force through its branches.

Seviper (FireRed/LeafGreen): It sharpens its swordlike tail on hard rocks. It hides in tall grass and strikes unwary prey with venomous fangs.

Starmie (Sun): Its shining core is thought to receive and transmit enigmatic signals. It has been known to cause headaches in those who approach it.

Muk (Moon): After recent environmental improvements, this Pokémon is now hardly seen at all. People speculate that it may go extinct at some point.

Glalie (Diamond/Pearl): To protect itself, it clads its body in an armor of ice, made by freezing moisture in the air.

Armaldo (Ultra Moon): Armaldo adapted from living in water to living on land. It has been determined that it is the ancestor of some bug Pokémon.

Milotic (FireRed/LeafGreen): Milotic is breathtakingly beautiful. Those that see it are said to forget their combative spirits.

Castform (Ultra Moon): Its form changes depending on the weather. The rougher conditions get, the rougher Castform's disposition!

Tropius (Sapphire): Children of the southern tropics eat as snacks the fruit that grows in bunches around the neck of Tropius. This Pokémon flies by flapping the leaves on its back as if they were wings.

Electrode (Red/Blue): It stores electric energy under very high pressure. It often explodes with little or no provocation.

Skarmory (Silver): After nesting in bramble bushes, the wings of its chicks grow hard from scratches by thorns.

Houndoom (Diamond/Pearl): Long ago, people imagined its eerie howls to be the call of the grim reaper.

Vibrava (Ruby): To make prey faint, Vibrava generates ultrasonic waves by vigorously making its two wings vibrate. This Pokémon's ultrasonic waves are so powerful, they can bring on headaches in people.

Banette (Ultra Moon): Resentment at being cast off made it spring into being. Some say that treating it well will satisfy it, and it will once more become a stuffed toy.

Claydol (Ruby): Claydol are said to be dolls of mud made by primitive humans and brought to life by exposure to a mysterious ray. This Pokémon moves about while levitating.

Plusle (Sapphire): When Plusle is cheering on its partner, it flashes with electric sparks from all over its body. If its partner loses, this Pokémon cries loudly.

Wigglytuff (FireRed): Its fur is extremely fine, dense, and supple. The exquisitely pleasant fur conveys an image of luxury.

Vileplume (Ruby): Vileplume's toxic pollen triggers atrocious allergy attacks. That's why it is advisable never to approach any attractive flowers in a jungle, however pretty they may be.

Did Cordie want to talk about and was finding any excuse to just dump his random thoughts onto someone? Or did hiding in a paper bag make him bottle up his opinions?

Actually, Koko was pretty sure he had already thought about these things before. Guess it really was just that surprising to learn about this side of Cordie.

"Uh... so basically you're afraid that Norman is going to change Sidney, if I'm reading between the lines correctly. I really don't think you need to worry about that. After all, I'm friends with him, and you know how crazy and weird I can get."

If anything, it was the opposite; Koko was forever trying to get Norman out of his shell.

"Honestly, it sounds like you kind of just want a clone of your brother to date him. People don't have to have that much in common to be in a healthy and committed relationship."

Heck, he has seen people who were too similar to each other break up with each other. Man, even though Coride claims this wasn't all in his mind, it really did feel like it.

He wasn’t exactly very knowledgeable about matters of the heart, but looking at them from a purely pragmatic, transactional view, he thought that Koko was a naive idealist who didn’t know that all human relations were based on give and take. Still, that was not the point right now.

“I guess you’re right about Norman, though… I mean, I know Sidney wouldn’t let anyone change him anyway.” He seemed more thoughtful now, but even his dismissal of the thought that Norman would change Sidney wasn’t because he realized Norman wasn’t that kind of person, but rather because he didn’t believe Norman had the capability to do so. He’s stubborn like that. “They’re probably a good match after all, that doesn’t mean I have to like that guy. But you know, in that case the best thing I can do is to stay out of the way and mind my own business.”

“Which I have been doing, mind you.” There’s just a little hint of impatience in his voice that wasn’t there before. He’s starting to get tired of Koko assuming he’s delusional.

As for that final question, he didn’t answer right away, instead giving Koko a puzzled look for a brief moment.
