ââ Damnit woman!â Now she chooses to call, of all times, âWhy is it that any time Iâm actually doing something important you give me this bull shâ No, actually Iâm at workâŚâ  He turned to the person he had been speaking to, holding up a finger as if to say one second, âOh, like youâre a saint! Tell your little boyfriend I say hello â Yeah, fuck you too.â Hanging up his cell with a roll of his eyes, âMy god. Forgive me,â returning, âMy beautiful wife.â He turned to examine the scene in front of him, the medical examiner buzzing around while the police tapped off the area, flashing his badge, âDetective GuĂŠdĂŠ. Can you tell me how you knew the deceased?â Said deceased person was currently in a coronerâs bag, soul nowhere to be found. Shit. It was going to be a long night.
There was a dead body. Amber was relatively calm about it but dead bodies weren't uncommon for the ex-scientist. Normally, Amber wasn't the person who discovered the dead body, but today was a different situation. The petite woman was about to say some observation about the deceased, but the phone call and the man's finger. Amber rolled her eyes - martial problems, the reason why she wouldn't let herself get married. Not that anyone could keep up with her. Not the way that she wanted to.
"I just met them," Amber said. Then shrugged, "Honestly, I just stumbled upon them. I don't know who they are." Though, judging from the marks on the body, Amber a quiet guess as to who caused this. She reached into her pocket to fish out her glasses. After sliding them on and adjusting them to fit just right, her fingers reached the corner of the frame and clicked a button. While they looked like normal glasses, Amber's vision was greeted with her usual scientific garble. It was curious. There was a lot of things that go on in Ceres Centropolis, but dead bodies just dropping was a little off to her. She switched her attention to the detective, "Is this first victim?"
